Both Teams To Score - No

Reason for tip

Granada could be relegated before kick-off if Mallorca win earlier in the day, but Real Madrid are already confirmed as champions so may also lack the motivation to get out of first gear. Both teams have not scored in six of Granada’s last seven league games and four of Real Madrid’s last five.

Real Madrid 1-0

Reason for tip

Real Madrid have won their last two away La Liga matches 1-0 and with the visitors likely to rest several elite attackers against a side that have failed to score in four of the last seven, that looks like the most likely final score.

Granada are goners

Granada may already have been relegated by the time they kick off at home to champions Real Madrid on Saturday so the prospects of this match getting out of first gear could be gone.

It is a big ask for the hosts to bridge an 11-point gap to Mallorca in the last position of safety anyway but they will want to go down with a bit of pride.

And, despite their lengthy odds, this match is not impossible to win because the visitors will make a host of changes and will just want to get out of Andalusia without sustaining any injuries a few weeks before the Champions League Final.

Courtois can keep it clean

While the likes of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr, Toni Kroos and Antonio Rudiger can look forward to a night off, this is another opportunity for Thibaut Courtois to work his way back into Carlo Ancelotti’s plans and his presence between the posts could keep Granada at bay.

Courtois kept a clean sheet on his first appearance of the season against Cadiz last weekend and a much-changed Real rearguard should still prove too sturdy for the hosts.

Granada have failed to score in four of their last seven games, but they have also kept back-to-back clean sheets at home, so it may be better to play both teams not to score than backing a weakened Madrid side with nothing to play for to win to nil.
