Inter Milan to Win and Over 2.5 Match Goals

Reason for tip

Inter have won with at least three goals in four of their last five Serie A road trips. They could easily score three themselves against a Sassuolo side that appear to have given up the ghost in their survival battle. I Neroverdi have lost each of their last two Serie A games 3-0 and 5-1.

Inter Milan 3-0

Reason for tip

Inter are capable of securing an easy win with a few goals at Sassuolo, who have conceded 11 times in their lats three matches. A 3-0 win is the preferred play, but it is hard to calculate when they may stop scoring against a side that could easily have shipped seven at Fiorentina last weekend.

Davide Frattesi To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi, who is due to make his loan move from Sassuolo permanent in the summer, has the highest xG per 90 minutes of the entire squad. He has five Serie A goals in just under 700 minutes of action this season.

Sassuolo vs Inter Milan Predictions

  • Inter have won with at least three goals in foir of their lats five Serie A road trips
  • Sassuolo have lost each of their last two Serie A games 3-0 and 5-1 and appear to have given up
  • Inter midfielder Davide Frattesi has the highest xG per 90 minutes of the entire squad

Sassuolo are on their knees

Sassuolo need a miracle to avoid relegation and may already have lost their stomach for the fight ahead of Saturday’s visit of champions Inter Milan.

I Neroverdi looked to have given up during their 5-1 spanking by Fiorentina last weekend, which could have been worse as the hosts also hit the woodwork twice.

That result came on the back of a 3-0 home defeat to Lecce, which simply does not happen if you are going to avoid the drop down to Serie B.

Nerazzurri maintain high standards

Inter, meanwhile, maintained their high standards with a 2-0 home win over Torino in their first official home game since securing the Scudetto title with a 2-1 derby win at the San Siro.

Simone Inzaghi’s side are far too professional to let their guard down in the final weeks of the season and they have a number of players itching to take their chance if the coach decides to rotate.

One of those players is midfielder Davide Frattesi, who was signed on loan from Sassuolo last summer and will make a permanent switch this year. He actually has the highest xG per 90 minutes of the entire Nerazzurri squad and might be able to add to his five Serie A goals for the campaign this weekend.
