13/1 Golf Acca Landed Saturday Night

What a start to the year for our golf Acca’s, two landed in the first two weeks of the year. On Sunday January 8th, we smashed in a £138 Acca and last Saturday night we followed up with a tasty £142 Acca to the delight of our followers.

How We Did It

The hottest golfer on the planet right now is Justin Thomas and we found it hard to believe he wasn’t odds on to win his 3-ball match against Gary Woodland and Hudson Swafford. No offence to those two players but Justin is playing like a man possessed at present and the 5/4 was a huge price we felt. He went on to shoot an impressive round of -5 to land the spoils. Part 1 of the bet landed.

Next up was probably the toughest part of the Acca but we felt the price was too big to ignore. As we know, Zach Johnson loves short courses as he is not long off the tee so this Hawaii course suited his game down to the ground. He may be short off the tee but he hits it dead straight off the tee and he is one of the best on tour with a wedge in his hand. He saw off the attentions of Justin Rose and Webb Simpson to win the major winners’ three-ball at attractive odds (5/2 was available) with a round of -5.

Last but certainly not least, the bet that got the Acca off to the perfect start was Mr Consistent but the man that always struggles to win, Charles Howell III. He added yet another Top 10 finish to his resume and in Round 3 shot a 68 to beat List and Kodaira at odds of 6/5. KABOOM, ACCA SMASHED!
