We’re officially less than two weeks away from the new Premier League season and we are warming up just in time here at FST!!

After successfully landing a 11/1 Both Teams to score Accumulator just six days ago, we smashed yet another winner!

Last night our football analysts were able to land a 18/1 Win Accumulator and here’s how it went:

18/1 Win Accumulator Lands

The Accumulator started in Denmark where 5th placed Sonderjyske and 6th placed Horsens squared off. After a scoreless first half, the home team finally found the breakthrough in the 67th minute through Hvilsom and despite their best efforts Horsens were unable to get the equalizer. Luckily for us the home team sealed the deal in the 90th minute through Lieder and we were off to a winning start to the Acca!

A five goal thriller in Belgium marked the 2nd game of the Acca. Standard Liege opened the new season with a 3:2 win over Gent. The two teams were level 1:1 after the first half and with both teams going all out for the win, it was Standard who managed to grab the lead in the 59th minute. They doubled their lead in the 78th minute through Emond which proved to be the winning goal. Gent pulled one back in the 82nd minute and that was all she wrote, a 3:2 win for Standard gave us the 2nd winner on our Acca!

Three red cards were shown in the 3rd game of our Acca as Derry City handled their business at home against St. Patricks. The first 45 mins ended all square and after an intense 35 mins of the 2nd half things got chippy. First it was the visitors missing a penalty in the 83rd minute and then the home team grabbed the lead in the 88th minute through sub Patterson. All hell broke lose after that, two St Patricks players and one Derry City player were sent off in extra time and luckily for us the game ended in a Derry City win!

The Austrian league also kicked off last night with Austria Vienna and Innsbruck clashing. The visitors grabbed a shock lead in the 19th minute, but Austria showed great composure and character to turn the game around. First they levelled it in the 38th minute through Grunwald and then just 7 mins into the 2nd half it was Turgeman who gave them a 2-1 lead which they were able to hold on to. They also missed a penalty in the 88th minute but it didn’t matter in the end as we were down to one final leg on the acca.

And finally Shamrock Rovers were up against Sligo Rovers in the Irish Premier Division, with them being in really good form recently it was a no-brainer to back them to win this one as well. They scored in the 66th and 86th minute to record their 4th win in five games and more importantly land our Accumulator!
