On Wednesday, the final three places in the Champions League group stages will be decided as the last legs of the three remaining play-off ties take place.
We’ve got a prediction for each game and have combined all three into one 10/1 treble, you can see more analysis over on our Match Predictions page.
Wednesday’s Champions League treble
Shakhtar Donetsk vs Monaco
Monaco are in the middle of a woeful run and have lost their last three games, including a 1-0 defeat in the first leg of this tie.
It is hard to pinpoint exactly what is going wrong at Monaco as in terms of overall play over their last three games they are creating more chances than their opponents and in most cases dominating the possession too.
It may be down to something as simple as a dip in confidence or just plain old bad luck. I suspect results will improve in the near future, but this tough qualifier in the Ukraine looks an unlikely starting point for any revival and they could be heading for a fourth successive loss at Shakhtar.
The hosts have won their last four games and have five wins in their last six competitive home fixtures. Given Monaco’s recent struggles, a win for Shakhtar at a big price is my top tip for this match-up.
Betting Tip: Shakhtar to win
Brondby vs Salzburg
This is a big call, but I feel Salzburg can win in Denmark with a -1 handicap after their performance in the first leg. The Austrian champions beat Brondby 2-1 at home but really should have won by a much bigger margin. Brondby scored in the first four minutes with their only shot on target and managed just one further attempt after that, while Salzburg enjoyed 74% of the possession and had 29 attempts with 10 on target.
Salzburg have won all seven of their games across all competitions this season, while Brondby are winless after their seven games with four draws and three defeats.
Betting Tip: Salzburg -1
Dinamo Zagreb vs Sheriff Tiraspol
Sheriff hold a 3-0 lead from the first leg and as such will probably set up to defend their lead, while Dinamo need to go on the attack from the off if they are to force their way back into contention in this tie. The visitors should see a few chances come their way on the counter as the Zagreb club simply have to push forward, and with that in mind both teams to score looks a good option in this fixture.
Sheriff are unbeaten in their last nine games (W8, D1) and have scored in all of those fixtures. The Macedonian outfit have scored in all seven of their European qualifiers so far, including a 1-1 draw at Red Star Belgrade, and they can get on the scoresheet in Croatia. Dinamo have scored in eight of their last nine, only failing in the first leg of this tie, and at home they have only drawn a blank once in their last 13 fixtures.
Betting Tip: Both teams to score
