12/1 Experts Accumulator Tip for this weekend

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

The domestic season may be all but over in Europe’s top leagues, but that doesn’t mean that this is a quiet weekend. With summer leagues kicking off, the EFL wrapping up and the small matter of the Champions League final ahead there’s plenty to mull over.

Ahead of the weekend games we’ve teamed up with three writers from the Racing Post to provide you with five expert selections covering the Champions League final, two Play-Offs finals and more.

Brentford vs Swansea – Brentford to win at 5/6

Brentford are the Championship’s top scorers this season with 79 goals in 46 league games, including 31 from star striker Ivan Toney, and their offensive quality should give them the edge over Swansea in the playoff final at Wembley.

Thomas Frank’s side came from two-goals behind to see off Bournemouth in their playoff semi-final and they finished the regular season with four successive victories. They look a superior side to the Swans, who face a step up in class after scrapping to a 2-1 aggregate success over Barnsley in the semi-finals.

Manchester City vs Chelsea – Man City to win at 17/20

Manchester City are taken to complete a historic treble on Saturday when they face Chelsea in the Champions League final. Pep Guardiolas men have been almost untouchable this season, whereas the FA Cup final demonstrated that Chelsea are still a team in transition under Thomas Tuchel.

The Citizens have won 11 of their 12 Champions League games this season and can add a first European trophy to their considerable haul.

Manchester City vs Chelsea – Phil Foden Man of the Match at 8/1

Manchester City have the chance to win their first Champions League crown with a victory over Chelsea and it’s hard to see the Blues stopping them.

City have a wealth of talent at their disposal, but it could be argued that a homegrown star has shone brightest this season. Phil Foden has quickly developed into one of Pep Guardiola’s most potent attacking weapons and the England man has scored five goals in his last eight starts. He can be backed for Man of the Match honours on Saturday.

Blackpool vs Lincoln – Blackpool to win at 6/5

Lincoln have made it to Wembley despite winning only two of their last seven matches. They nearly blew a 2-0 lead over Sunderland in their semi-final, while the Imps have conceded at least twice in their previous three away games.

On the other hand, Blackpool have won five of their last six games, scoring 13 times in that run and keeping five clean sheets. The Seasiders have lost only twice in their last 22 games and they come into this one in fine form. Since mid-February they’ve won more points than any other League One side, so they’re worth backing for success on Sunday.

Rosenborg vs Stabaek – BTTS at 7/10

Rosenborg have played some excellent attacking football in the opening exchanges of the new Eliteserien season, though their lax defending has often let them down. The Troillongan have managed to keep just one clean sheet so far and they shipped at least two goals in three of their last four assignments.

Stabaek meanwhile, are still unbeaten and they took something from three of their last four trips to play Rosenborg in Trondheim. The visitors should have the confidence to go for the jugular at the Lerkendal Stadion and action at both ends is expected as a result.
