Tom McGarry was on tip duty for FST on Monday and he managed to overcome the working-week blues to land two tasty tips to get October off to a flyer.

Fresh from some huge success in September, there were big boots to fill heading into the new month and we did not disappoint with 15/1 and 6/1 winners.

Let’s have a look at how it went down:

15/1 Match Goals acca lands with ease

Some of our winners come in thanks to late drama and a lot of adrenaline. This was not one of them as a 15/1 shot landed with ease.

Our tips:

  • Over 2.5 goals – Malmo vs Brommapojkarna
  • Under 2.5 goals – MVV vs FC Eindhoven
  • Under 2.5 goals – Ajaccio vs Bastia
  • Under 2.5 goals – Fulham vs Chelsea
  • Over 2.5 goals – Espanyol vs Racing Ferrol

The results:

  • Malmo 2-1 Brommapojkarna
  • MVV 0-1 FC Eindhoven
  • Ajaccio 2-0 Bastia
  • Fulham 0-2 Chelsea
  • Espanyol 3-0 Racing Ferrol

Starting just after 6pm, our first port of call was Sweden and we got off to a flyer as Malmo raced to a two-goal lead inside the first 15 minutes. We had to wait a little for our leg-landing third goal, but shortly after the second half began the visitors fought their way back into the game, landing our tip.

Next up we travelled south to the Netherlands for what we expected to be a low-scoring game. An early red card for MVV gave our chances a boost in our massive 6/1 Bet of the Day tip – FC Eindhoven and under 2.5 goals – and the visitors duly made use of their numerical advantage to grind out a 1-0 win.

The next leg took place in the second tier of French football as Ajaccio and Bastia faced off in the Corsica Derby and once again it was a straightforward affair, with a goalless first hour leaving us confident in our selection. Two goals for the home side followed but, with one coming in the 89th-minute, we were never particularly worried about a late flurry of activity.

The final two legs were the most nervy, especially when Chelsea put themselves 2-0 up inside 20 minutes. Fortunately for our followers, no more goals followed at Craven Cottage.

Over in Spain, Espanyol were 2-0 up by the 47th minute but we were made to wait until the 71st minute for Martin Braithwaite to finish the job. Then, it was just a tense wait for the final whistle in West London before the celebrations began!
