21/1 Experts' Best Bets Accumulator for Saturday!

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

The Premier League and Championship are both back this weekend, alongside the rest of Europe’s major leagues. With a busy slate ahead, we’ve called in three Racing Post tipsters to provide their best bets for Saturday.

Empoli vs Venezia – Empoli to win at 4/5

Empoli won 1-0 at Juventus before the international break and they can build on that great win by seeing off Venezia.

The hosts lead 1-0 against Lazio in their opener before falling to a defeat, but their response at Juve was a big boost.

Meanwhile, Venezia have lost both of their games to nil so far. They lost 2-0 to a 10-man Napoli, 3-0 to Udinese and then 4-0 in a friendly against Serie B Benevento. After that poor run, Empoli look like a good bet.

Swansea vs Hull – Swansea to win at 11/10

Swansea were well beaten by Preston in a 3-1 defeat before the international break but can get back to winning ways against a poor Hull team this weekend.

The Tigers beat North End themselves in the opening round of games but it has been all downhill since, and they’ve failed to score in four league games since that win at Deepdale.

Hull did manage a point at home to Bournemouth last time out but luck was on their side then and that fortune may well run out against Swansea, who have at least been scoring even if they’ve found points hard to come by in these early stages of the season.

Leyton Orient vs Oldham – Leyton Orient to win at 7/10

Sixth-placed Leyton Orient are off to a solid start in League Two and they look rock-solid favourites to defeat second-bottom Oldham at Brisbane Road.

The Londoners had a tough start, including fixtures against two of the top three, but their only defeat was a 2-0 loss at home to leaders Harrogate.

Kenny Jackett’s side are potent in attack with Cypriot under-21 international Ruel Sotiriou partnering target man Harry Smith, who has scored four goals in five games since joining from Northampton.

And they should have too much quality for Oldham, who have lost five of their six league matches.

RB Leipzig vs Bayern Munich – Bayern to win at 21/20

Leipzig lost key players Dayot Upamecano and Marcel Sabitzer as well as manager Julian Nagelsmann to Bayern Munich this summer and could pay the price when the teams reconvene at the Red Bull Arena.

Under Jesse Marsch, the Red Bulls have made a stuttering start with a win and two defeats from their first three matches and they could struggle to tame the Bavarian juggernauts.

Bayern rolled over Hertha Berlin 5-0 before the international break, extending their winning run to four games in all competitions.

Scunthorpe vs Exeter – Exeter draw no bet at 8/11

Playoff regulars Exeter are expected to be battling it out for promotion in League Two, whereas Scunthorpe look set for a season of struggle.

The Grecians have won only one of their opening six games but four of those fixtures ended in draws, which includes against current top three Harrogate, Forest Green and Bradford.

Matt Taylor’s men should find the challenge of Scunthorpe, who saw budgets cut over the summer, considerably easier.

The Iron have netted only four goals from six games and they are weakened defensively with influential centre-back Emanuel Onariase suspended and George Taft an injury doubt.
