Turkey vs Italy kicks off on Friday evening as the first of 12 Euro 2020 Group Stage matches in round one of the tournament and what better way to celebrate than to try and predict the outcome of every single game in the round?

Of course, we’ll have full in-depth predictions for every single game over on our Euro 2020 predictions page, but we thought we’d save you the hard work and compile them all into one HUGE 2,144/1 accumulator.

Let’s dive right in.

Euro 2020 Group Stage Round 1 acca

Turkey vs Italy – Friday, 11th June (20:00)

FST predicts: Italy over 1.5 team goals

Italy have been well-backed in the build up to Euro 2020 and should start their tournament firing on all cylinders. They have won their last eight games and scored at least two goals in all of them, while Turkey have conceded twice or more in six of their last ten games.

Wales vs Switzerland – Saturday, 12th June (14:00)

FST predicts: Switzerland to win

Wales didn’t have the best preparation for this tournament as they lost to France and drew with Albania and they face a talented Swiss outfit. Switzerland have won their last five games and this Wales side – led by the inexperienced Rob Page – doesn’t seem to have the defensive solidity of that famous 2016 team.

Denmark vs Finland – Saturday, 12th June (17:00)

FST predicts: Denmark over 1.5 team goals

Denmark are one of our dark horses for Euro 2020 and they can kick their campaign off in style against debutants Finland. The Danes have scored at least two goals in nine of their last 11 games and Finland have shipped 12 goals in their last six games against Wales, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Ukraine, Switzerland, Sweden and Estonia.

Belgium vs Russia – Saturday, 12th June (20:00)

FST predicts: Belgium to win

Belgium’s golden generation may be ageing a little but this is one of the best prices going in round one. They won both home and away against Russia in qualifying and are by far the superior side. They have won seven of their last nine matches and should fairly comfortably beat this Russian side despite it being played in Saint Petersburg.

England vs Croatia – Sunday, 13th June (14:00)

FST predicts: England to win

England and Croatia have gone in opposite directions since that World Cup Semi-Final clash three years ago and the Three Lions have won 15 of their 17 home games since that fateful evening. Croatia have lost four of their last six away from home and could struggle against a youthful England outfit.

Austria vs North Macedonia – Sunday, 13th June (17:00)

FST predicts: Both teams to score

North Macedonia may be debutants at the European Championships but they aren’t a team to sit back and defend. They have scored 14 goals in five games this year and beat Germany away from home in March. These two sides met twice in Euro 2020 qualifying and there were goals at both ends on both occasions.

Netherlands vs Ukraine – Sunday, 13th June (20:00)

FST predicts: Ukraine double chance

Ukraine are another of our dark horse picks and head into Euro 2020 unbeaten in their last six games. They have lost only ten of their 44 games under Andriy Shevchenko and the inconsistent Netherlands have only won half of their ten matches with Frank de Boer in charge.

Scotland vs Czech Republic – Monday, 14th June (14:00)

FST predicts: Scotland double chance

Scotland have the advantage of playing at Hampden Park in their opener and considering they’re unbeaten in their last eight home games that could prove crucial. Czech Republic are fairly similar to Scotland in terms of quality but have won just one of their last five away games, including a 1-0 defeat to Scotland in October.

Poland vs Slovakia – Monday, 14th June (17:00)

FST predicts: Poland to win

On paper at least, Slovakia look like one of the least impressive sides at Euro 2020 and while Poland aren’t among the favourites they should have no problem starting off with a win. Robert Lewandowski is coming off the back of a record-breaking season and can fire the Poles to victory on Monday.

Spain vs Sweden – Monday, 14th June (20:00)

FST predicts: Both teams to score

Spain were dealt a cruel blow when Sergio Busquets tested positive for Covid-19 and the result has been a very disrupted preparation period, making the win market unappealing. Sweden have scored in each of their last seven games and should trouble the Spanish defence, especially when it’s not shielded by Busquets, but with Spain scoring in seven of their last eight they should have no trouble finding the net.

Hungary vs Portugal – Tuesday, 15th June (17:00)

FST predicts: Portugal to win

European Championship holders Portugal are Statman Dave’s pick for the trophy and I fully expect them to kick their defence off with a win here. Hungary haven’t been tested much of late and Portugal destroyed Israel 4-0 in their final warm-up game. The game will be played in Budapest, but Hungary have only won two of tehir last five at home and Portugal are unbeaten in their last seven away games.

France vs Germany – Tuesday, 16th June (20:00)

FST predicts: France to win

Round one ends with a bumper clash between two footballing giants in Munich, but it’s the French who should emerge victorious. Germany are in a poor place right now and lost to North Macedonia in March, while France have won each of their last eight away games and look good value to add to their World Cup trophy this summer.
