287/1 Ultimate Bet Builder for Brighton vs Man United's FA Cup clash

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

With Manchester City waiting in the final, will it be an all-Manchester derby in the showpiece clash in June? Or will Pep Guardiola meet Roberto De Zerbi, a manager he’s widely praised at both Sassuolo and Brighton?

There’s little doubt Sunday’s semi is the one we’ve been waiting for, as the high-flying Seagulls chase silverware against a United side who have already lifted a trophy at Wembley this season.

Ahead of the game, we’ve picked out a massive 287/1 fivefold bet builder, including the standout bets from our Brighton vs Man United predictions.

Brighton vs Man United Ultimate Bet Builder

Brighton to win

This clash comes at the worst time for United and Erik ten Hag, with the Red Devils struggling with defensive issues going into this clash. Their makeshift back four is bound to have a huge impact on this game, with Luke Shaw set to be drafted in at centre-half, with Diogo Dalot switched from right-back to left-back.

United are missing their top three central defenders and won’t have any of their usual starting back four playing in their usual positions. All the while, they meet a Brighton side who have been in fantastic form in recent weeks, losing just once in their last nine.

United have a terrible record away to the top teams in the Premier League this season and that’s unlikely to be much better on neutral territory. Roberto De Zerbi has made Brighton look excellent and his charges should excel against an injury-hit United side.

Alexis Mac Allister to score

De Zerbi’s Brighton tend to share the goals around, but I’m looking towards a World Cup winner to come up big for them in Sunday’s semi-final. Mac Allister has put in some brilliant displays of late, including leaving Stamford Bridge last Saturday with the highest Expected Goals tally of any player on the pitch.

Mac Allister has been getting in great areas for Brighton of late, hitting at least four shots in five of his last six games. With United’s defence looking vulnerable, back him to convert one of those chances on Sunday.

Solly March to make an assist

One of the most impressive adjustments De Zerbi has made at Brighton is turning Solly March into a midfielder with real end product. He had recorded four goals and 10 assists across his previous five seasons in the top-flight, but this term he’s scored seven and created seven more.

March is set to start on the wing at Wembley and he could cap his rise with another assist this weekend. He’s created a goal in three of his last four appearances and March can cause problems for Dalot on Brighton’s right-hand side, especially with Marcus Rashford unlikely to get back to help out.

Pascal Gross to be carded

That flank should see plenty of action on Sunday, as Rashford is expected to be running at Pascal Gross. The German midfielder has been played as a right-back by De Zerbi, typically moving him to full-back in the FA Cup. It works given the trend of getting full-backs into central midfield roles in possession, but there has to be concern about the impact it has when United get forward.

Rashford will likely be a tough test for Gross, who has already been carded in two of his last four games. I’d back Rashford to give him a hard time at Wembley and the midfielder is a good bet for a caution.

Diogo Dalot to be carded

The same goes for Dalot at left-back, given how March should get forward. The Portuguese defender has already been booked seven times so far this season, so he’s a great candidate for a booking in this clash.

Dalot was cautioned in United’s win over Newcastle at Wembley in the Carabao Cup final and I’m backing him for another card in the final leg of this bet builder.
