Monday night’s Premier League action brings us a must-win clash for Arsenal at the Emirates, as their legendary midfielder Patrick Viera brings his Crystal Palace side to visit.

Viera’s arrival has brought praise from many quarters, while Mikel Arteta’s Arsenal reign still fails to inspire. However, there are some signs of a turnaround at the Emirates, with the Gunners winning four of their last five. That has us backing them in our Arsenal vs Crystal Palace predictions, but we’ve got other markets to consider here.

We’ve gone through the player special markets for this clash to pick out four bets, which combined run as a 65/1 accumulator. Read on for our four player picks, while you can back that fourfold below.

Arsenal vs Crystal Palace player specials tips

Martin Odegaard to make an assist

Odegaard has been slotted into the Arsenal midfield in the number 10 position, which means there’s a lot of expectation on him to set up Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang alongside his fellow midfielders. While he needs to improve his chance creation from open play, Crystal Palace’s poor defending offers Odegaard an opportunity here.

The Norwegian is likely to take corners and free-kicks without Nicolas Pepe in the picture for this one, making him a great anytime assist option. Palace have conceded an alarming eight goals on the road, half of which have come from set-pieces. They concede 26% of the shots they face from set pieces, so back Odegaard to set up a goal on Monday night.

Bukayo Saka 1+ shots on target

Saka is set to get a start on the right for England and he is fresh from scoring on international duty with England. The winger also notched in Arsenal’s last home game – their win over Tottenham.

Expect Saka to head into this one full of confidence, while he should get chances against a Palace side who face 12 shots per game on average. Saka takes 1.7 per match in the Premier League and we’re backing him to get at least one on target here.

Conor Gallagher 2+ shots

Palace’s biggest goal threat in terms of xG this season is Chelsea loanee Conor Gallagher, who scored twice away to West Ham earlier this season. The central midfielder is a constant threat from deep and he’s going up against an Arsenal side who have been weakened in the middle of the park with the absence of Granit Xhaka.

Arsenal concede 16 shots per game while Gallagher averages 2.5 shots per game himself. Don’t expect him to show any fear at the Emirates, while I struggle to see the hosts shutting him down. Given that, Gallagher is great value to have at least two shots in this game.

Luka Milivojevic to be carded

Milivojevic used to be Palace’s free-kick specialist, but now he’s reduced to the role of midfield enforcer. Despite that, the Serbian has yet to be booked this term despite committing over a foul per game on average.

The Serbian has started only two times for Palace in the league but he’s set to hold the fort in the middle of the park on Monday night. With Odegaard, Saka and Emile Smith-Rowe likely to be buzzing around him, that lack of match practice will surely catch up with him.

Milivojevic has survived those first two starts without a booking, but he was carded eight times last season including five in 15 away starts. Back him to be cautioned at the Emirates this week.
