8/1 BTTS Accumulator lands on Wednesday!
We finished April landing a 28/1 Win Accumulator and started May with another winner with our 13/1 Win Accumulator, now our football analysts have come in yet again landing an 8/1 Both Teams to Score Accumulator on Wednesday evening!
Here is the story of our winner.
There were 5 legs in this BTTS Accumulator from Switzerland, Spain, Scotland and England. The first of the bunch came in Switzerland for St Gallen vs Luzern in the Super League. Both teams scored in the last 3 games at home for St Gallen and the home side flew into a 1 goal lead with just 17 minutes on the clock. Luzern equalised and kicked off the accumulator with minutes remaining in the first half. The away side went on to win 3-2.
Barcelona is the next destination as the Spanish Champions played host to Villarreal, this game started brightly as Coutinho got Barcelona off to a flyer scoring in the 11th minute. Another Brazilian carved his name on the scoresheet with Paulinho doubling the lead just 5 minutes later and a sublime effort from Lionel Messi saw the Champions head into half time with a 3-0 lead. It took just 9 minutes of the second half for the second leg of our accumulator to land as Nicola Sansone broke through the Barcelona defence to get Villarreal’s only goal of the game. Barcelona went on to score two more through Frenchman Ousmane Dembele to win 5-1.
We head across to the Scottish Premiership for the third leg of the accumulator as Hibernian travelled to Hearts in the penultimate fixture of the season. Hibs were favourites heading into this one but they fell to a 1-0 deficit after none other than Kyle Lafferty put the hosts ahead. We had to wait for the second half to see Hibs score and it came from the spot. Hearts went on to win after former Rangers & Everton striker Steven Naismith grabbed a winner in the 57th minute.
The Premier League is the next destination as Leicester City faced an Arsenal team who hadn’t won away from home in the league this calendar year. Kelechi Iheanacho was first to strike in this bout in the 14th minute of the game. Only a minute later Arsenal were reduced to 10 men and this leg looked a tough task from here on out. Arsenal did continue to play good football despite being a man down and finally grabbed the goal we needed through Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. Leicester did go on to make the extra man count and a penalty from Jamie Vardy alongside a 90th minute Riyad Mahrez goal was enough to grab all three points for The Foxes.
The final leg our the accumulator saw Sevilla host a ver different Real Madrid side to the one we are used to seeing. Madrid went into this game without star players such as Ronaldo, Bale, Isco and others and Sevilla used that to their advantage and flew into a 2-0 lead by half time. Not long into the second half Madrid were awarded a penalty which was smashed against the bar from Sergio Ramos, the defender was then on the end of an own goal in the 84th minute to make it 3-0 Sevilla. We love late goals here at FST and luck struck our way as substitute Borja Mayoral grabbed the final goal needed for our accumulator to land. Sergio Ramos made up for his earlier mishaps by scoring after being awarded a second penalty of the game. Sevilla held on for a 3-2 win to take all 3 points in this one.
