The visitors were unfortunate not to reach the last 16 at Euro 2024, finishing bottom of their group despite claiming four points, while the Czechs lost to Portugal and Turkey either side of a draw with Georgia.

The Minstermen lost their last home clash against Boston United but showed their quality by bouncing back with a win at Dagenham and Redbridge last time out.
