Ahead Of The Curve: 26/1 midweek Premier League treble

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

While the Third Round of the FA Cup is dominating the weekend headlines, there’s a full slate of Premier League fixtures in midweek. With that in mind, we’ve asked a panel of experts for their best bet from the midweek top-flight card.

With two backing Brentford to add to Manchester City’s poor form, we’ve got a 26/1 treble across the first two nights of Premier League action this week. This tip has been priced up with bet365, who are running this great offer to new customers.

Ahead of the Curve PL Treble

Alex Wrigley

Brentford to beat Man City

Brentford may have lost their last two home games against Arsenal and the high-flying Nottingham Forest, but prior to that they had taken 22 points from a possible 24 at home and they are 4/1 to beat a Manchester City side that have lost seven of their last nine competitive away games.

Stephen Davies

Brentford to beat Man City

Can’t look past Brentford at home to Manchester City. Back-to-back wins over Leicester and Palace have not altered the script at the Etihad – City are miles off where they were. They are vulnerable to teams going at them with pace and the Bees, formidable at home, will do that all night.

Ian Wilkerson

Crystal Palace to beat Leicester

I’ll take Crystal Palace to win at Leicester. The Foxes are looking like a team destined to make an immediate return to the Championship. They have won one of their last 13 and they were lucky to get that against West Ham, while the Eagles are unbeaten in their last five on the road.

Aaron Rogan

Everton to beat Aston Villa

David Moyes makes his Everton return on Tuesday night and he should get a good reception at Goodison Park. The Toffees beat Peterborough 2-0 on Thursday night after Sean Dyche was dismissed and they can cause problems for an Aston Villa side who don’t travel well.

The visitors have lost six of their last seven on the road, while they’ve won only three of nine Premier League trips this term. The Toffees raced into a 2-0 lead at Villa Park earlier this season and with the club lifted by their returning manager, they’re tempting underdogs on Wednesday night.
