Arsenal vs Man City: 30/1 on 1+ Arsenal corner & 70/1 Bet Builder!
Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.
Arsenal’s clash with Manchester City isn’t the same top-of-the-table battle that it has been in recent years, but the Gunners’ title hopes can’t withstand another setback. You can see if we’re backing the Gunners to get the result they need in our Arsenal vs Manchester City predictions.
Here, I’ve taken a closer look at the player markets to piece together a 71/1 Bet Builder for the Super Sunday encounter. This bet has been priced up with Paddy Power, who are offering new customers incredible odds of 30/1 on Arsenal to win a single corner. The Gunners have won 10 combined across the first 10 minutes of their last three games, so that’s something which could land fairly quickly.
Arsenal vs Man City Ultimate Bet Builder
Phil Foden 1+ shot on target
Phil Foden continued his fantastic form with a strike against Chelsea last weekend. The midfielder has scored six times across his last four league matches, while he’s been a regular goal threat throughout 2025.
The England international has had a shot on target in 11 of his last 14 matches and his last Premier League game without an effort on target came on Boxing Day.
We’ve seen Manchester City improve going forward while continuing to give away chances, so back Foden to have at least one shot on target this weekend.
Omar Marmoush 1+ shot on target
Adding Marmoush from Frankfurt has boosted City’s forward line, with the Egyptian impressing in last weekend’s debut against Chelsea. He couldn’t play in the Champions League in midweek, so he’ll be fresh for this trip to the capital.
Marmoush had two shots in the win over Chelsea along with a disallowed goal. He recorded 34 shots on target in 17 games for Frankfurt in the Bundesliga this season, so back him to have his first shot on goal in City colours.
Each of City’s front three should expect to get chances here, with Betfair offering 50/1 on 1+ shot on target for Erling Haaland too.
Gabriel Magalhaes to be carded
Erling Haaland to make 1+ fouls
Expect some tension when these two renew acquaintances on Sunday. They didn’t exactly finish on good terms at the Etihad, so expect some needle when they meet this weekend.
Gabriel has three bookings in the Premier League this term, while he was carded in home encounters with Manchester United and Tottenham last month. Given the test Haaland poses, back the Brazilian to be carded.
Haaland could also struggle to keep his cool in this trip. The striker has made 15 fouls in 23 league appearances, but he tends to make those in bigger games. He committed two fouls in the opening weekend visit to Chelsea plus two more in home defeats to Tottenham and Manchester United. He made three fouls in the first clash between these two sides, but he’s well-priced to make a single foul here.
Bernardo Silva to be carded
Silva has been booked on seven occasions for City this term, usually in the club’s biggest games. He started the campaign with a caution in the Community Shield, before bookings against Arsenal, Tottenham, Nottingham Forest, Juventus and Chelsea.
Silva is forced to do more defensive work without Rodri in the side and that’s especially true in big matches. He’s matching up with Declan Rice and Martin Odegaard in the middle of the park, so back Silva for a card.
