Back our gigantic 935/1 each-way double for this week's golf action!

Just four more events remain on the 2024 DP World Tour season and with the battle to qualify for the Phase Three play-offs intensifying, there promises to be more thrills and spills in this week’s Andalucia Masters at Real Club de Golf Sotogrande.

LIV golf member Jon Rahm is the overwhelming favourite to lift the trophy on home soil and his last two efforts on the European Circuit, which have produced finishes of second and tied-seventh, suggests he will be tough to beat.

Another player likely to make strong appeal this week is South Korean Tom Kim, who is aiming to become the first player to win the Shriners Children’s Open on the PGA Tour three years in a row.

Andalucia Masters each-way prediction – Niklas Norgaard

Real Club de Golf Sotogrande will stage the Andalucia Masters for the second year running, having taken over hosting responsibilities from Valderrama in 2023 after LIV Golf acquired the latter as a venue on a five-year deal.

Wide fairways should give the bigger hitters an advantage off the tee, but fast greens that are protected by a plethora of bunkers ensure accuracy on approach is a necessity with anything wayward presenting a tough up-and-down.

Two-time Major champion Rahm’s decision to tee it up this week has increased the fanfare ahead of Thursday’s opening round, and his skinny odds at the top of the market means there is plenty of value in the betting.

One player that could put in a bold showing is one of the latest talents to come off Denmark’s conveyor belt, Niklas Norgaard, who made his DP World Tour breakthrough in September’s British Masters at The Belfry.

Finishing T36 on his next start at the Irish Open, the 32-year-old was then tied-seventh at the BMW PGA Championship, T12 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and T18 at last week’s Open de France.

Norgaard is one of the biggest hitters on the DP circuit, ranking fourth in driving distance, while he is fourth in strokes gained off the tee and 15th in SG tee to green.

Also boasting a greens in regulation ranking of 17th, the world number 94 is full of confidence and his position of sixth in the Race to Dubai standings means there is no play-off pressure for him.

Shriners Children’s Open each-way prediction – Adam Hadwin

With the last six winning scores of the Shriners Children’s Open being -20 or better, another birdie-fest should be expected when the field heads to TPC at Summerlin for the fourth FedEx Cup Fall event.

Market leader and defending champion Tom Kim is aiming for an unprecedented third victory in a row here, but there is value elsewhere in a wide-open tournament and Adam Hadwin can end his long trophy drought.

The 36-year-old, who landed his sole PGA Tour title at the 2017 Valspar Championship, heads to a course he has thrived at in the past.

Of his eight previous trips here, Hadwin has missed the cut just once and he came closest to winning last year when finishing second, just a stroke behind Kim.

The Canadian has also ended up fourth, sixth and tenth (twice) around this track and he can put in another bold bid for victory.
