Erling Haaland to score 2+ goals
Haaland didn’t feature in Man City’s Carabao Cup exit at Tottenham last month, but the forward did score a brace away to Spurs when they all but wrapped up the title earlier this year. The forward impressed during the international break, scoring four goals across two games for Norway.
Haaland should be relishing this contest, with Tottenham missing both Micky van de Ven and Cristian Romero. With the visitors vulnerable at the back, expect the best chances to fall to the man who has scored 12 of City’s 22 league goals this season. Plenty of goals are expected here, so Haaland to score twice or more holds a lot of appeal.
Brennan Johnson to have 2+ shots
Brennan Johnson is enjoying a stellar season for Tottenham and the winger has taken more shots than any other Spurs player so far. While his scoring streak has come to an end, Johnson has managed to take at least two shots in nine of his 11 Premier League appearances this season.
The winger had two shots on target in the win over City last month and his pace is likely to hurt the hosts, who have been noticeably vulnerable to fast-breaks.
Radu Dragusin to be fouled 1+ times
With Spurs missing their centre-halves, expect Dragusin to come into the side. The defender has made four Premier League appearances to date, being fouled in three of those. Dragusin has been fouled five times across those matches and he’s evens to draw another on Saturday.
The Romanian has been fouled 13 times across his last 16 games for club and country and he’s up against Haaland, who has committed nine fouls in 11 league games this season.
Dejan Kulusevski to be carded
Kulusevski has committed 19 fouls in the league this season, more than any other Spurs player. The Swede has been booked in each of his last two league trips, while he was also cautioned in the visit to Galatasaray before the international break.
He’s set to continue in the midfield three while Bentancur is absent, so it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Kulusevski pick up another caution.
