Manchester United vs West Ham
Correct Score Prediction: 2-0 Manchester United
West Ham had an excellent start to the season, and if this game was played a month ago I’d ben backing West Ham. However, they haven’t won any of their last four games and the early season away form that saw them beat Liverpool, Arsenal, and Man City seems to have deserted them as they have fallen to back to back away defeats. Manchester United will be keen to get back to keeping clean sheets after Jamie Vardy broke their defence last weekend, so I think a 2-0 scoreline looks a good option.
Southampton vs Aston Villa
Correct Score Prediction: 3-0 Southampton
Southampton will be keen to get over their back to back humblings by Man City and Liverpool in the past week, and there isn’t a better team to come up against at the moment than Aston Villa. They haven’t won since the opening day of the season and they seem to be getting worse rather than better. I’m expecting a comfortable win for the hosts on Saturday, and a 3-0 scoreline looks to be the best option.
Swansea vs Leicester
Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Leicester
Swansea began the season brightly, but their torrid form over the past couple of months has seen manager Garry Monk come under increasing pressure. They have won just one of their last 11 matches in all competitions, with seven of those being defeats. Leicester, meanwhile, have only lost once all season and managed to get an impressive point against Manchester United last weekend. They look to be the real deal, and I think they can get a standard 2-1 win over Swansea on Saturday.
Watford vs Norwich
Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Watford
Both Watford and Norwich have been fairly leaky at the back in recent times, so I’m not expecting either team to keep a clean sheet. However, Watford are definitely in the better form coming into this game, with Norwich’s terrible run of results seeing them freefall towards the Premier League relegation zone. With the home advantage on their side, I’m expecting Watford to get the three points on Saturday with a 2-1 victory over the defensively poor Norwich.
West Brom vs Tottenham Hotspur
Correct Score Prediction: 2-0 Tottenham Hotspur
Tottenham Hotspur are unbeaten since the opening day of the season in the Premier League, with five of their last seven in all competitions ending in victory for the top four hopefuls. They will be confident of getting another win on Saturday as well. West Brom have lost four of their last seven at the Hawthorns and come up against a side with an in form Harry Kane leading the line. West Brom don’t score too many, so there’s a good chance of a Spurs clean sheet, and I think their attacking players can net a couple of goals on Saturday.
Chelsea vs Bournemouth (17:30)
Correct Score Prediction: 2-0 Chelsea
Jose Mourinho has finally started to sort out his faltering Chelsea defence, and they have managed to keep three clean sheets on the bounce coming into this game. Their attackers should have a bit more luck on Saturday as well, because Bournemouth have conceded in all but one of their competitive matches this season. The visitors haven’t won any of their last nine outings, and they have conceded at least two goals in five of their last seven matches. Chelsea should be able to bag a couple of goals on Saturday, so a 2-0 correct score prediction looks like a good backing.
