Norwich vs Everton (12:45)
Correct Score Prediction: 2-0 Everton
Norwich’s 2-0 loss to Watford last weekend made it seven losses in their last nine games, and their early season good form seems to be a distant memory now. They are struggling against a drop into the relegation zone now, and they come up against an Everton side who have won four of their last seven and are unbeaten in seven. The Everton attack have been enthralling recently, with Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley netting 17 times in the league this season. I think they’ll grab a couple of goals against a poor Norwich defence on Saturday, and a 2-0 scoreline looks good to me.
Crystal Palace vs Southampton
Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Crystal Palace
Southampton have been very disappointing recently, with their 1-1 draw against Aston Villa last weekend making it four matches without a win. I think they will find it difficult against an in form Crystal Palace side on Saturday as well, who are coming off the back of a streak of five games in which they have only lost once. Southampton are fairly good up front though, so I think they’ll find the back of the net, but with Crystal Palace in much better form I think they’ll get a win at home here.
Manchester City vs Swansea
Correct Score Prediction: 3-0 Manchester City
Swansea have finally lost patience with Garry Monk after a terrible spell of just one win in their last 12 games that has seen them slip towards the relegation zone. They begin life without him at the helm at the Etihad on Saturday, with Manchester City coming in fresh off the back of a 4-2 win in midweek that saw them top their Champions League group. I can’t see Man City failing to win on Saturday, and they have won by two or more goals in each of their last four victories. I’m expecting a very comfortable win for the Premier League title contenders here, and 3-0 looks to be the best option.
Sunderland vs Watford
Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Watford
Sunderland have shown a marked improvement over the last few weeks and have started to redeem themselves after their dreadful start to the season. They have won three of their last six and have scored in five of them. But Watford are a side in form. Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney are tearing defences apart and I’m expecting them to be involved in a couple of goals on Saturday. I think Sunderland will put in a decent performance, but ultimately be overwhelmed by the in form Watford, so a 2-1 win for the visitors looks like a good call to me.
West Ham vs Stoke
Correct Score Prediction: 1-0 Stoke
West Ham have done the same as last season, starting off really well before dropping off the boil and slipping down the table. They come into this match on the back of a five match winless streak and without their two most influential attacking players: Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini. It will take a lot for them to get past the stern Stoke defence without these two. Stoke are in excellent form as well, beating Manchester City last weekend and winning nine of their last 12 games in all competitions. But Stoke rarely score a lot of goals, and away from home I think a 1-0 win for them is reasonable.
Bournemouth vs Manchester United (17:30)
Correct Score Prediction: 1-1 Draw
Bournemouth finally managed to break out of their winless streak last weekend when they outplayed Chelsea at Stamford Bridge and came away with three points. This represents a huge upturn in performance from the out of form Bournemouth, and they have a chance to get one over another out of form super team on Saturday. Manchester United lost to Wolfsburg in midweek to send them crashing out of the Champions League, and they have only won three of their last 11 matches. Six of these 11 ended as draws, and with the visitors seriously injury hit I think another draw is on the cards on Saturday.
