Bournemouth vs Crystal Palace

Correct Score Prediction: 2-2 Draw

Bournemouth come into this game having won their last three matches, including beating the out of form sides Chelsea and Man United. But they face a more difficult task against a Crystal Palace side who are close to moving into the top four. Both sides have been finding the net regularly in recent weeks, and I don’t think even the decent Crystal Palace defence won’t be able to keep out a Bournemouth attack that are high on confidence after breaching the Premier League’s best defence in Manchester United. It should be a high scoring match, and with Bournemouth being at home I think they can get a point.

Chelsea vs Watford

Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Chelsea

The Chelsea team will come into this match raring to go out there and impress new manager Guus Hiddink, and few could argue that they don’t have the quality to do that. But Watford won’t be easy to beat. They have the Premier League’s most lethal strikeforce in Odion Ighalo and Troy Deeney and have won their last four matches on the trot. But with confidence restored after their win against Sunderland last weekend and players fighting for a place in Hiddink’s regular teamsheet I think Chelsea can get a narrow 2-1 win.

Liverpool vs Leicester

Correct Score Prediction: 3-1 Leicester

Liverpool’s 3-0 collapse to Watford last weekend didn’t flatter the winners, and I think Jurgen Klopp’s outfit will find it difficult to bounce back straight away from that defeat. This is especially true against Leicester. The Premier League leaders are brimming with confidence and just don’t seem capable of being beaten at the moment. They have only lost once all season and are the Premier League’s top scorers, and I think they will be confident of extending Liverpool’s four match winless streak with a comfortable win.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Norwich

Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Spurs

Norwich managed to get a surprising win at Old Trafford last weekend that will have lifted spirits ahead of the festivities, but they are coming up against a Tottenham Hotspur side who are looking really good at the moment. Spurs bounced back from a shock defeat to Newcastle with a very comfortable looking 2-0 win at Southampton last weekend, and with Harry Kane and Dele Alli in such good form I think they can equal that scoring tally on Saturday. A 2-1 win for the home side looks good to me.

Newcastle vs Everton (17:30)

Correct Score Prediction: 2-1 Everton

Everton come into this game against relegation threatened Newcastle having only won one of their last six Premier League games, but I think they can make it two in seven on Saturday. Newcastle may have started picking up the odd win in recent weeks but they are still lacking at both ends of the pitch, and coming up against an in form Romelu Lukaku and Ross Barkley is never something you want. Everton’s defence has been poor this season though, so I’m expecting Newcastle to find the net, so I think a 2-1 win for the visitors is a good backing.

Southampton vs Arsenal (19:45)

Correct Score Prediction: 2-0 Arsenal

Southampton succumbed to a lacklustre 2-0 defeat at home to Spurs last weekend to extend their dreadful run of form, and they won’t find it any easier against Arsenal on Boxing Day. The visitors beat Manchester City 2-1 on Monday night to cement themselves as favourites for the Premier League title, and this win made it five victories in Arsenal’s last six games. I’m fully expecting the visitors to get another three points on Saturday, so a repeat of Southampton’s last result looks good to me.
