Serie A – AC Milan to win (vs Juventus)

The big game in Italy this weekend comes from Turin as Juventus host AC Milan and it could be a difficult evening for Saturday’s hosts. 

The Old Lady’s season has been one to forget and while overall their home form is much better than their away record, they are far from foolproof on their own patch. 

Juve have won only two of their last six Serie A home games, losing to lowly Udinese and drawing with struggling Empoli in that run, suggesting they may struggle against the Rossoneri, who have won six of their last eight league away matches. 

Milan have won at Lazio and Fiorentina in that run and given they are unbeaten in four visits to Juventus, winning 1-0 in this exact fixture last season, they could be set to land three crucial points in Turin.

Bundesliga – RB Leipzig to win (vs Borussia Dortmund)

RB Leipzig have taken the initiative in the race for fourth in the Bundesliga and they can extend their two-point gap over fifth-placed Borussia Dortmund to five with a win on Saturday. 

Marco Rose’s men are on an eight-match unbeaten run – a streak which includes six wins and a draw with Real Madrid – and their scoring output is frightening having netted 21 times in those eight games. 

They have kept four consecutive clean sheets at home and should be too strong for Dortmund, who have lost five of their last six clashes with RB and are likely to have one eye on Tuesday’s huge Champions League semi-final first leg against Paris St-Germain.

La Liga – Athletic Bilbao double chance (vs Atletico Madrid

While their rivals made the semi-finals, Atletico Madrid were bounced out of the Champions League after losing 4-2 in Dortmund on Tuesday and followed that up with a 2-0 defeat at Alaves, a result which has opened the door for Athletic Bilbao to leapfrog them into fourth. 

Bilbao are just three points behind Atleti and could usurp their hosts by winning in the capital on Saturday.

Atletico may have won five of their last six on their own patch, but their loss at Alaves was shocking and if there is one team who knows how to get a result at the Metropolitano, it is Athletic Bilbao.  

Ernesto Valverde’s men have won one and drawn the other of their last two visits to Atleti and after beating Diego Simeone’s side 4-0 on aggregate in the Copa Del Rey semi-finals, they will be confident of earning at least a point in the capital.

Ligue 1 – PSG -1 handicap (vs Le Havre)

PSG have an 11-point cushion at the top of Ligue 1 and a Champions League semi-final to think about but they should still be in store for a comfortable victory against the relegation-threatened Le Havre.

The Parisiens have won their last three games by an aggregate scoreline of 12-3 and Le Havre have lost nine of their last 11 games, while the reverse fixture in Le Havre ended 2-0 to PSG.
