We’ve got the weekend’s biggest games from around Europe covered in our free match predictions, but I’ve decided to take a look at some of the lower-profile clashes from around the continent.
Below I’ve picked out a 122/1 accumulator from five matches across Saturday and Sunday, featuring games from Ligue 1, the Eredivisie and the second tiers of Germany and Spain.
European Roadtrip Accumulator
Saint-Etienne vs Lens
Saint Etienne’s return to the top-flight has seen them struggle on the road, but they’re enjoying better fortune at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard. They’ve recorded wins over Lille and Auxerre in their last two at home, but they’re seen as outsiders for Saturday’s encounter with Lens.
The visitors aren’t heading into this clash in red-hot form, as they’re winless in their last six matches. They’ve drawn five Ligue 1 games on the spin, while they make this trip having failed to win their last four on their travels.
Given how Lens are struggling, Saint-Etienne appeal at odds-against to avoid defeat at home once more.

AZ vs PSV
AZ are third in the Eredivisie, but their strong start as taken a turn. They head into Saturday evening’s fixture having lost three matches on the bounce.
Meanwhile, PSV are in a great position to retain their Eredivisie title having won all eight matches they’ve played this term. The visitors do have some defensive concerns – both teams have scored in four of their last five starts. With AZ netting in each of their last nine at home – but conceding nine goals across two defeats to PSV last term – take the visitors to concede and win.
Tip: PSV to win and both teams to score
Waalwijk vs Twente
Waalwijk are rooted to the bottom of the Eredivisie standings, having lost all eight of their games so far. Their rough start is unlikely to improve, with fourth-placed Twente their opponents this weekend.
The hosts have lost five of their last six matches by at least two goals, while Twente have won three of their last four league matches. That includes a 5-0 win over second-bottom Almere City, so take the visitors to clear a -1 handicap in this clash.

Hamburg vs Magdeburg
Sunday afternoon pits together two high-flying sides in Germany’s second tier, but favourites Hamburg look vulnerable in this encounter. Magdeburg have won all four of their away trips in 2. Bundesliga this season, while the hosts have failed to win two of their last three league outings.
Magdeburg have been a regular thorn in Hamburg’s side since the hosts slipped out of the top-flight. The visitors have won two of their last three visits to this ground, so take the outsiders to cause a surprise.
Tip: Magdeburg to win
Real Zaragoza vs Almeria
Almeria are battling to avoid the drop in Spain’s second-tier, finding themselves in the relegation zone after struggling through their first nine matches. The visitors are coming off a stretch of high-scoring games, with their last five outings featuring 24 goals.
Meanwhile, Zaragoza were beaten 3-2 by Racing Santander in their last home game. They responded to that with a 3-2 win at Tenerife, which bodes well for another high-scoring clash against Almeria.
Tip: Over 2.5 goals
