Watford vs Nottingham Forest – Watford to win at 17/20

Nottingham Forest lost 1-0 at home to Luton in midweek and their lack of goals looks concerning. The visitors have scored just three times in their last six matches. That’s likely to hurt them ahead of Saturday’s visit to the best home side in the Championship.

Watford have won 13 of 17 games at Vicarage Road this term and that’s been the backbone to their promotion hopes. However, the Hornets have taken a leap forward in 2021, as they have the second-best record in the league since the turn of the year. With five wins in their last six, Watford look like good value to see off a goal-shy Forest.

Hoffenheim vs Wolfsburg – Wolfsburg to win at 7/5

Hoffenheim may have only lost one of their last four at home, but their performances against the better teams in the Bundesliga have been poor. They have lost their last five home league games against teams in the top half and their only home points since September have come against teams in the bottom ten.

Not only that, but Hoffenheim are also in the midst of an injury crisis and come up against a Wolfsburg side just seven points adrift of Bayern Munich. The visitors have won six of their last seven and haven’t conceded a single goal in this period, including four consecutive wins to nil away from home.

Eintracht Frankfurt vs Stuttgart – Eintracht Frankfurt to win at 19/20

Eintracht Frankfurt’s pursuit of a top four finish hit a bump at Werder Bremen last week, though Die Adler’s form at Deutsche Bank Park has been imperious. Their five straight wins in a row there included fine victories over Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich, and Adi Hütter’s high fliers can claim three more points against Stuttgart.

Stuttgart were beaten in three of their last four away assignments and they left with nothing after their last two trips to play their hosts in Frankfurt.

Cambridge United vs Walsall – Cambridge United to win at 1/1

Cambridge were knocked off top spot in League Two for the first time in six weeks after an unfortunate 1-0 loss at home to Scunthorpe on Tuesday but they can get their promotion push back on track by defeating mid-table Walsall.

The midweek loss was tough to take for Cambridge, who won the shot count 17 to two, but they missed the creative genius of classy veteran Wes Hoolahan, who was given the night off.

Hoolahan is often saved for weekend matches and has helped Cambridge pick up seven wins and three draws in his last ten appearances.

Bayern Munich vs Borussia Dortmund – Bayern Munich to win at 13/20

Bayern Munich have responded to their slight dip in form following the Club World Cup final with emphatic wins over Lazio and Cologne and they can come out on top in Der Klassiker.

The Bavarians go into the game equipped with a full-strength attack made up of Serge Gnabry, Thomas Muller, Kingsley Coman and Robert Lewandowski and that could be problematic for a Dortmund defence who have looked porous this year.

Bayern have won each of their last four matches with Borussia Dortmund and can make it five Der Klassiker wins on the spin this weekend.

Cheltenham vs Port Vale – Cheltenham to win at 8/11

Port Vale’s new manager Darrell Clarke has endured a tough start with draws against Leyton Orient and Stevenage followed by 1-0 defeats to League Two promotion contenders Cambridge and Salford.

Things are unlikely to get any easier for relegation-threatened Vale when they travel to leaders Cheltenham, who have won six of their last eight league matches, five of them to nil.

The in-form Robins will be eyeing up another victory and another clean sheet against a Vale side who have had just six shots on target in four matches under Clarke.

10/1 Celebrity Corner Double with Gabby Agbonlahor and Scott Minto

Our Celebrity Corner has got off to a wonderful start, with a debut 13/2 winner two weeks ago and last week’s double landing as a single. Can Scott Minto and Gabby Agbonlahor make it three in a row?

Aston Villa vs Wolves – Draw at 9/4

Wolves battered Aston Villa earlier on in the season at Molineux and my old club nicked the points with a last-minute penalty and the visitors will be desperate for revenge in this derby.

Given that Wolves will be up for it this could be a draw. I have been in that situation when you have nothing to play for and all you’re thinking is get me on the plane to Dubai but the derby factor will motivate Nuno’s men despite them being stuck in mid-table.

As far as Villa are concerned I want to see more from Ross Barkley. I want to see the Barkley that played for Everton and try to step up if Jack Grealish remains out.

Sheffield United vs Southampton – Sheffield United to win at 13/5

I used to play with Chris Wilder and he is a good guy. There is no way he will just let Sheffield United slip out of the division without fighting until the end and we saw that on Wednesday when they beat Aston Villa despite being reduced to ten men.

They’ve still got a couple more wins in them before relegation, while Southampton are in even worse form than the battling Blades at the moment with one draw and eight defeats in the last nine Premier League matches. Southampton have also not won away in the top flight since early December.
