Plymouth vs Derby – Plymouth to win @ 19/10 with bet365

Plymouth will be on a high after securing their first away league win of the season at Portsmouth in midweek and they can secure another crucial win in their Championship survival fight when hosting fellow strugglers Derby on Saturday.

The Pilgrims sit bottom of the table, two places and two points behind the Rams, but Miron Muslic’s side can record back-to-back league wins for just the second time this term against a Derby side that haven’t won away since the start of November.

Plymouth’s form at Home Park has been strong of late, winning three, drawing one and losing one of their last five assignments in Devon and that should be good enough to overcome the Rams, who have registered just one away win in all competitions.

Simon Barlow

Oxford vs Watford – Watford to win @ 31/20 with bet365

There are a few Championship clubs that appear to be running on empty right now and Oxford fall into that category amid a run of four defeats in their last five.

Gary Rowett is operating with a small squad and injuries have also played a part in their dismal form, which has seen them take only two points from the last 21 on offer.

The U’s will look to halt a two-game losing streak at the Kassam Stadium against a Watford side that have lost only one of their last six on the road.

Tom Cleverley’s men halted Swansea’s three-game revival on Wednesday and will fancy their chances of recording a fourth win in six overall.

Joe Casey

Swansea v Burnley – Burnley @ 11/10 with bet365

Swansea have had a season to forget and after their 1-0 defeat to Watford last time out they have now lost 17 Championship games this term, only the bottom three have lost more games than that.

The Jacks look set for another defeat as they host title-chasing Burnley, who are unbeaten in their last 19 league games.

They were held to a draw by West Brom last time out but the Baggies are a step up on this Swansea team and the Clarets should enjoy the return to calmer waters. Take the away team to win.

Liam Flin

Bolton vs Stockport – Bolton to win @ 31/20 with bet365

Bolton were undone by an early penalty and a late winner in their 3-2 defeat to Bristol Rovers on Tuesday but they controlled the game and have been improving under Steven Schumacher.

Before that slender loss, Wanderers had beaten Birmingham and Burton and they have still won five of their last seven League One assignments.

Saturday’s opponents Stockport are also in the promotion hunt but they have won just one of their last four games, dropping points against Cambridge and Northampton in that run.

Tom McGarry

Mainz vs Freiburg- Mainz to win @ 1/1 with bet365

In the battle between two of the Bundesliga’s surprise packages, Mainz are expected to make home advantage count against Freiburg as they eye a fifth league win on the bounce.

Freiburg are also in good form, as they are unbeaten in six and have won two of their last three on the road, although those away victories have come against struggling teams in Bochum and St Pauli.

Julian Schuster’s side had only taken two points from their seven away games prior to those wins and against a Mainz team that have beaten both Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund on home soil already this season, they may come unstuck.

Alex Wrigley

Girona vs Valencia – BTTS at 10/11 with bet365

Only rock-bottom Valladolid have conceded more La Liga goals than Valencia this season and they visit a Girona side almost as frail at the back, with only Valladolid, 19th-place Las Palmas, and Saturday’s visitors Valencia conceding more goals the Blanquivermells.

However, these sides do have some of the best goalscoring records in the bottom half, with both teams scoring in each of Girona’s last four at home and in each of Los Ches’ last five on the road, so we can expect an open-ended affair at the Estadi Municipal de Montilivi.
