Experts' Best Bets for Sunday with 34/1 Acca

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

Sunday is a massive day for football fans with a full schedule from La Liga and Ligue 1 alongside action from the Bundesliga, Serie A and the Premier League.

With so many games to sift through we’ve recruited three Racing Post tipsters to join us in picking out the best best in a bust day of action.

You can see our six selections below, alongside our Experts Accumulator tip. For more football accumulators head over to our free football tips page.

Parma vs Sassuolo – Sassuolo & BTTS at 7/4

Parma have lost their last seven games in a dismal campaign which has seen them relegated from Serie A. They’re heading to Serie B having recorded one of their worst ever campaigns at home, losing 11 times at their own ground this term.

However, Parma have scored in their last seven at home and they’re well placed to score against a Sassuolo side who have won their last three on the road despite conceding. The Neroverdi have seen 72% of their trips finish with both teams scoring. The visitors come into this one having won five of their last seven and we’re backing them to win and concede here.

Monaco vs Rennes – Monaco to win at 13/20

Monaco may be five points adrift of Ligue 1 leaders Lille but the hosts have it all to play for as they battle with PSG and Lyon for the Champions League spots. They have won six of their last seven league games and made it to the Coupe de France Final in midweek with a demolition of lower-league Rumilly Valleres.

Rennes are still in the hunt for European qualification but their last away day ended in defeat to the lowly Bordeaux and they have won just two of their last eight away games, losing to Montpellier, Lyon, Marseille and Bordeaux in the process.

Marseille vs Angers – Marseille to win at 9/20

Marseille are embroiled in a three-way battle with Lens and Rennes for fifth spot and a place in Europe and OM cannot afford any slip-ups at home to Angers on Sunday.

Luckily for the hosts, Angers are in rotten form and their run of five losses in six games included defeats to nil against Lyon, Rennes, PSG and Monaco. Marseille have taken 17 points from the last 21 on offer at the Orange Vélodrome and they can harness home advantage again this weekend.

West Brom v Liverpool – Liverpool to score in both halves at 8/13

Goal difference could be absolutely crucial in the race for Champions League football next season and therefore Liverpool are likely to keep pushing even if they hit the front at the Hawthorns as they battle for a top-four finish.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were excellent at Manchester United on Thursday, where all of the selected front three scored in the 4-2 win, and backing the Merseysiders to score in both halves appeals.

The fight looks to have gone out of relegated West Brom, who have been totally dominated in recent matches on the shot count. It was 17-4 to Leicester and 7-1 on target, 24-10 to Aston Villa and 11-4 on target, 20-10 to Wolves and 10-4 on target and 15-12 to Arsenal and 7-1 on target.

Tottenham vs Wolves – Over 2.5 goals at 4/5

There have been 67 goals in Tottenham’s last 19 matches and there looks every chance of another high-scoring clash when Spurs host Wolves. Nine of the Lilywhites last 12 matches have seen at least three goals and Spurs are likely to have to chase the game at some point given their European hopes.

Ryan Mason has selected attacking line-ups in his first two Premier League contests and there doesn’t seem any reason to think that the interim boss will change his approach against Wolves.

Liam Flin

Football journalist and La Liga and Bundesliga expert at Racing Post.

RB Leipzig vs Wolfsburg – Wolfsburg or draw double chance at 8/11
Leipzig were hammered 4-1 by Borussia Dortmund in the German Cup final on Thursday and, with little left to play for in the Bundesliga, the Red Bulls look worth opposing against Wolfsburg.
Visitors Wolfsburg need to keep winning matches to keep in the hunt for Champions League football and have been on a decent run of late, winning five of their previous eight fixtures.
