Who to Bench

Romelu Lukaku

The in form Everton striker has often struggled to make an impact against the top clubs in the Premier League. He terrorises defences of the lower clubs but bigger teams seem to be able to deal with him much more effectively. Everton play against the in form Tottenham Hotspur who won’t be allowing the midfield creators of Everton any time to pick their frontman out with their high pressing style. I think a week on the bench might be a good idea, although with Man City and Chelsea coming up for Everton you might want to trade Lukaku in.

Sergio Aguero

The most expensive player in Fantasy Football is failing to perform at the moment. He hasn’t looked anywhere near as sharp since he came back from injury and has managed a total of four points from the last three gameweeks. Manchester City visit a good looking Watford side on Saturday as well and have been awful on the road recently.

Who to Buy

Mesut Ozil – Price – 10.0 Million

He may be expensive at the moment, but he’s well worth it. The Premier League assist leader is in sensational form and looks destined to break the assist record in the league this season. He’s scored 27 points in the last three gameweeks and Arsenal host the struggling Newcastle. Get Olivier Giroud in there as well, he should have a field day against the Newcastle defence.

Glen Johnson – Price – 5.2 Million

The Stoke defender is massively underrated in Fantasy Football. He has served up a few assists this season due to his attacking nature and is part of a Stoke back line who love clean sheets. They visit West Brom on Saturday as well, who will be without Salomon Rondon and are already struggling to find the net.

Marco Arnautovic – Price – 6.5 Million

The Stoke midfielder is in excellent form at the moment and is a bargain considering how close to the strikers he plays. He bagged an assist and a goal along with three bonus points against Everton and will almost certainly be lining up against West Brom on Saturday.

Ashley Williams – Price – 4.8 Million

Swansea captain Ashley Williams will lead his team out against a Manchester United side struggling desperately for goals. Williams bagged another clean sheet on Monday and made it nine points from each of the last three gameweeks. His heroics earn him a good amount of bonus points too.

Scott Dann – Price – 5.8 Million

Crystal Palace line up at home against Chelsea this weekend hoping to pick up their 3rd clean sheet in a row. Scott Dann has been a constant in the impressive Crystal Palace back line and has earned himself more points than any other defender. They play Aston Villa the week after as well so that could well be another clean sheet.
