Who to Bench
Marco Arnautovic
The impressive Stoke midfielder has brought an abundance of points to savvy buyers this season, but he’s a doubt for Stoke’s trip to Leicester. Even if he does play, Leicester have only conceded one goal in their last four Premier League outings.
Jamie Vardy
That being said, the newly reformed defensive side of Leicester means that their attack is faltering a bit. The main man Jamie Vardy hasn’t scored in any of his last six matches and come up against a Stoke side who have shipped three goals in their last five matches. It could be a long day for the forward, and now might be the time to get rid of him.
Who to Buy
Mesut Ozil – Price: 10.0 Million
The Premier League assist leaders is set for a return after missing out last weekend. Arsenal missed his creativity enormously, and he will come up against a Chelsea side who have conceded five goals in their last two matches. Alexis Sanchez could be back in action as well, which can’t harm the German’s chances of an assist or two.
Craig Dawson – Price: 5.1 Million
A bargain basement buy at 5.1 mission. The West Brom defender comes up against Aston Villa at home, who have only scored ten goals on the road all season.
Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku
The in form Everton duo have a very promising fixture coming up. They host a Swansea side who have conceded nine goals in their last four games, including a 3-2 defeat to Oxford United. The two Everton players have 251 points between them already this season, so they could well bag a few goals between them.
Benik Afobe – Price: 6.1 Million
The new Bournemouth man netted a goal in his last game and should have recovered from a minor knee problem in time to face Sunderland in a crucial relegation clash. Sunderland have conceded 15 goals in their last five games so it could be a good day for the pacey, powerful striker.
Toby Alderweireld – Price: 6.2 Million
Spurs are keeping a very tight ship at the back this season and they come up against Crystal Palace on Saturday, a team who are struggling to find a striker to lead the line for them. Palace have only scored two goals in their last six matches in all competitions and have failed to find the net on five occasions. Alderweireld has chipped in with three assists this season as well.
