After what seems like an age, we are back with Premier League action after that annoying early season international break. Forgotten who you actually have in your team? I know I had, but here we give you the rundown of who to pick and who to avoid for the coming Fantasy Premier League gameweek.

Who to Bench

Thibaut Courtois

News has emerged in the past day or so that the big Belgian stopper could be out of action for up to two months due to injury. Get him out before his price plummets!

Chelsea Defenders

Chelsea have been terrible defensively this season, and they visit an Everton side in good attacking form on Saturday. Thibaut Courtois, their last line of defence, has also been ruled out for a while, so their defensive record is likely to worsen.

Ibrahim Afellay

After his petulant slap in the match against West Brom, the new Stoke signing is suspended for three matches. With Xherdan Shaqiri now in the fray, chances are that Afellay could end up on the fringes of the starting lineup should Stoke hit some form while he’s away. Charlie Adam is the same after his stamp in the same game.

Who to Play

Kyle Naughton – Price: 5.0 million

The Swansea right back visits newly promoted Watford on Saturday. The Vicarage Road outfit have struggled for goals a bit so far, and with Swansea’s stern defence I don’t see them getting many this weekend. He’s shown his attacking threat as well this season by creating eight scoring chances for his teammates this season.

Cheikhou Kouyate – Price: 5.6 million

West Ham secured an impressive 3-0 victory over Liverpool before the international break, and now face Newcastle at Upton Park. Kouyate is priced very reasonably at 5.6 million and he’s already picked up two goals and an assist this season.

Sergio Aguero – Price: 13.2 million

Yes he’s expensive, but it’s hard to argue that he’s not worth it. Aguero may only have picked up one goal so far this term, but with the Bundesliga’s assist leader from last term joining the in form Manchester City he’s likely to get more chances to put the ball in the net. They play against Crystal Palace as well, who have been impressive so far but haven’t managed to keep a clean sheet this season.

David Silva – Price: 10.2 million

Another big expense, but the Spaniard has created more chances than anyone else in the Manchester City team, and leads the assists chart this season with four. If him and Aguero team up well against Crystal Palace it could be a big scoring week for those who have him in their team.

Bafetimbi Gomis – Price: 7.4 million

The Swansea forward has been in great form so far this season, and with the Swans visiting newly promoted Watford on Saturday I wouldn’t put it past him to bag a couple more goals. Andre Ayew should definitely be considered as well, with the 7.4 million midfielder scoring freely as well.

Callum Wilson – Price: 5.8 million

Bournemouth’s hat trick hero follow on from his three goal haul against West Ham with another goal against Leicester. They now pay a visit to the newly promoted Norwich, and he’s a snip at just 5.8 million.

Harry Kane – Price: 9.4 million

A risky one. Surely he will start firing soon, they are playing Sunderland and he will have had a boost in confidence after scoring for England.
