Paul Pogba – Manchester United

Manchester United have had an initial offer of £86 million for Paul Pogba rejected by Juventus. The club have accepted that the 23 year old midfielder wants to leave Turin, but have told Manchester United it will take a world record transfer fee to land the player. Manchester United are expected to increase their offer though, and odds of him moving to Old Trafford have been slashed to 2/7.

Nemanja Matic and Moussa Sissoko – Juventus

Juventus are already in the market for Paul Pogba’s replacement, and Chelsea’s combative midfielder Nemanja Matic and Newcastle’s Moussa Sissoko are two players that they are hoping to bring in. Antonio Conte is apparently reluctant to sell Matic and won’t consider any offers under £25 million, whilst Newcastle are trying to hold out for £35 million for Sissoko.

Rob Holding – Arsenal – Deal Close

20 year old Bolton defender Rob Holding is expected to complete a move to Arsenal within the next few days. The youngster was left out of Bolton’s team for a friendly on Tuesday amid reports that Arsenal were close to signing him.

Brice Dja Djedje – Watford – Deal Close

Reports from France suggest that Watford are close to completing their move for Marseille defender Brice Dja Djedje. A transfer fee of around £2 million has been agreed between the clubs, and now they just need to settle personal terms with the 25 year old defender.

Divock Origi – Atletico Madrid

Atletico Madrid have ditched their pursuit of former striker Diego Costa in favour of a move for Liverpool’s Divock Origi. The 21 year old hasn’t been overly successful at Liverpool so far, but apparently Jurgen Klopp is keen to hold on to the striker and will only consider selling for a high price.

Diafra Sakho – Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace are hoping to boost their strikeforce by signing West Ham striker Diafra Sakho. The 26 year old forward has made his intentions clear by refusing to travel to a pre-season training camp and desperately wants to leave the club after falling out with the hierarchy.

Riyad Mahrez – Manchester City

Manchester City will turn their attentions towards Leicester’s stay player Riyad Mahrez if their ongoing pursuit of Leroy Sane proved fruitless. However, the Leicester hierarchy are convinced that Mahrez wants to stay at the King Power Stadium.

Arda Turan – Chelsea and Arsenal

Barcelona have slashed the price of their out of favour midfielder Arda Turan even further. They are now willing to part ways with the 29 year old Turkey captain for just £20 million, and both Arsenal and Chelsea are interested in him.

Saido Berahino – Stoke

Stoke manager Mark Hughes has stated that the club have put in a bid for West Brom striker Saido Berahino, and now they’re just waiting for the Baggies to get in touch with them.

Reece Oxford – Manchester United and Manchester City

Both of the big Manchester clubs are chasing West Ham’s starlet defender Reece Oxford, but the 17 year old is valued at £15 million by the club.

Fabinho – Manchester United

Manchester United will look to strengthen their full back positions even more with a £25 million bid for Monaco’s 22 year old left back Fabinho.

Georginio Wijnaldum – Liverpool

Newcastle and Liverpool have held talks regarding the potential transfer of 25 year old playmaker Georginio Wijnaldum. Liverpool are thought to be keen on one of Newcastle’s few shining lights last season, but the newly relegated club want £25 million for the player. However, Liverpool could sweeten the deal by sending Lucas Leiva the other way.

Geronimo Rulli – Manchester City

Manchester City will look to provide Joe Hart with some competition between the sticks with the £4 million signing of 24 year old goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli.

Loic Remy – Besiktas

Turkish Super League side Besiktas will turn their attentions towards Chelsea’s out of favour striker Loic Remy if their pursuit of Mario Gomez fails.
