Olivier Giroud – Atletico Madrid

In yet another case of Chelsea and Atletico Madrid pursuing each other’s strikers, Atletico Madrid have reportedly contacted the Stamford Bridge club over the possibility of taking Olivier Giroud on loan. Reports suggest that The Blues would prefer a permanent deal if any though.

Giroud only joined Chelsea in January and scored three times in 13 games, but Maurizio Sarri’s pursuit of Gonzalo Higuain has thrown the World Cup winner’s future into disarray. (Sky Sports)

Harry Maguire – Manchester United

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is still chasing Leicester’s Harry Maguire as he looks to bolster his back line. The 25 year old was one of the standout performers in England’s World Cup campaign, and those performances have increased his asking price to well over the £50 million mark.

Mourinho is reportedly ready to offer £65 million for Maguire, but first would need to free up some funds by selling Marcos Rojo, Eric Bailly, or Chris Smalling. (Mail)

Ahmed Musa – Al Nassr

Leicester have reportedly turned down a £12 million bid from Saudi Arabian club Al Nassr for Ahmed Musa. The 25 year old striker has made just 21 Premier League appearances since joining in 2016, but his impressive showing for Nigeria at the World Cup has turned some heads.

The Foxes are willing to let Musa go, but they are looking to recoup most of the £17 million they paid CSKA Moscow for him two years ago. (Sky Sports)

Islam Slimani – Sporting Lisbon

Musa isn’t the only Leicester striker on the radar of other clubs though. Islam Slimani, who has been frozen out at the King Power Stadium since Claude Puel took over, is a transfer target for former club Sporting Lisbon.

The 30 year old joined from the Portuguese club two years ago for a club record fee of £29 million, and now Sporting are trying to take him back on loan. Leicester are only thought to be interested in a permanent deal though and have set an asking price of £18 million. (Sky Sports)

Richarlison – Everton

We reported yesterday that Everton were in advanced talks over the signing of Watford’s young Brazilian winger Richarlison. Apparently those talks were productive, and a £40 million deal that would see the 21 year old reunited with Marco Silva is expected to be finalised on Monday. (Liverpool Echo)

Miralem Pjanic – Manchester City

With Juventus needing to offload players after the signing of Cristiano Ronaldo, both Manchester City and Chelsea have started circling their 28 year old midfielder Miralem Pjanic. It seems that Pep Guardiola’s club will make the first move though, with a £89 million bid lined up and ready to be submitted to the Serie A champions. (Tuttosport)

Kasper Schmeichel – Chelsea

Kasper Schmeichel’s performances for Denmark in the World Cup have turned the heads of some of the biggest clubs in Europe, and it’s reported that Chelsea are lining up a move for the 31 year old goalkeeper.

Claude Puel sees things differently though, stating that Leicester are determined to keep their number one goalkeeper and have yet to receive any transfer offers for him. (Sky Sports)

Mateo Kovacic – Various

Croatian midfielder Mateo Kovacic states last month that he wanted to leave Real Madrid in pursuit of regular first team football, and the 24 year old stood strong in his stance when he met new manager Julen Lopetegui on Friday.

The likes of Manchester City, Manchester United, Liverpool, Bayern Munich, and Juventus are all keen to take the central midfielder away from the Bernabeu, and with a reasonable asking price of €50 million being reported it’s likely that we’ll see Kovacic leave the Spanish capital this summer. (Sky Sports)

Yerry Mina – Wolves

Premier League newcomers Wolves have emerged as surprise contenders to sign Colombian defender Yerry Mina from Barcelona. The 23 year old impressed at the World Cup and is thought to be seeking more first team action, and Wolves are willing to provide that by taking him on a season long loan.

However, Wolves aren’t the only club interested. Everton have already been in contact with Mina’s agent, and if Barcelona don’t want him he could well be on his way out of the door after just seven months at the club.  (Sun)

Yannick Bolasie – Leicester

Leicester continue their hunt for Riyad Mahrez’s successor, and Everton winger Yannick Bolasie is the latest name on their lips. The Foxes have reportedly launched an enquiry about the 29 year old’s availability, but they could have to compete with Bolasie’s former club, Crystal Palace, before completing a transfer.
