Hotshots Accumulator: 427/1 Goalscorer tip spanning Monday to Sunday

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

With both Tottenham and Chelsea absent from Europe, their London derby clash kicks off a huge week of action across the continent. Continental competitions pick up the slack from Tuesday, before another big weekend of league matches.

I’ve scanned the next seven days to pick out a goalscorer for each day, which combines to make up our massive 427/1 Hotshots Accumulator.

These selections are all priced up through bet365, who are offering new customers up to £30 through the offer below!

Hotshots Accumulator Tip

Monday – Son to score (Tottenham vs Chelsea)

Where better to start with our goalscorer acca than with Heung-Min Son, who has scored eight times across 10 Premier League games this term. While Harry Kane is thriving in Germany, Son has assumed his goalscoring burden.

Despite Chelsea’s lavish spending, Son will be the most dangerous and possibly the most talented player on the pitch when these two rivals meet. The South Korean has put a torrid 2022/23 season behind him and he’s riding a wave of positivity alongside his teammates, so back him to notch against the Blues.

Tuesday – Phil Foden to score (Man City vs Young Boys)

A Champions League tie with Young Boys is a likely chance for Pep Guardiola to rotate, especially in the aftermath of Erling Haaland’s injury scare. That issue did benefit Phil Foden, who came on for Haaland on Saturday to score City’s fourth against Bournemouth.

The England midfielder has scored in back-to-back games for City and he scored his first Champions League goal of the campaign against Leipzig last month. Back him to add to that with another goal in midweek.

Wednesday – Jude Bellingham to score (Real Madrid vs Braga)

Jude Bellingham’s incredible season arguably peaked with his El Clasico brace last month, but his fantastic scoring record makes him one to watch this week.

Bellingham has already recorded his highest-scoring league campaign in his career, after hitting 10 goals across his first 10 La Liga games. He’s also scored in each of his three Champions League goals this term, so back him to continue that fine scoring record with a strike against Braga.

Thursday – Mohammed Kudus to score (West Ham vs Olympiakos)

Kudus looked like a brilliant signing for West Ham in the summer and after a couple of months to settle he’s finding his groove. The Ghanian forward has scored in each of his last two games, scoring against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup before his excellent goal at Brentford on Saturday.

That has taken Kudus to five goals in claret and blue, including his brace against TSC in the opening game of their Europa League group.  He had hit a hat-trick against Ludogorets for Ajax in this competition in August before departing, so with five goals in four European games he’s a great anytime scorer option.

Friday – Albert Gudmundsson to score (Genoa vs Verona)

One of the stars of Genoa’s return to Serie A is Gudmundsson, who has built upon his return of 11 Serie B goals last term. The Icelandic forward has scored five times in 11 games this term and Friday pits them against a Verona side who sit in the bottom three.

Gudmundsson is well-placed to continue his fantastic form, having scored six times across his last seven matches. He’s scored in three successive games and in three of his last four home appearances, so back him to net against strugglers Verona.

Saturday – Eddie Nketiah to score (Arsenal vs Burnley)

Mikel Arteta wasn’t best pleased by Arsenal’s loss at Newcastle and ahead of the game he revealed that Gabriel Jesus remains sidelined. That’s not great news for Gunners fans, but it’s music to the ears of Eddie Nketiah.

The striker is a brilliant deputy, as proven by his hat-trick in his previous outing at the Emirates. He put three goals past Sheffield United in a 5-0 win and the Gunners should expect to cause problems for Burnley.

All of Nketiah’s five goals this term have come at the Emirates and having scored against the Blades, Fulham and Nottingham Forest he is a good bet to strike against the Clarets.

Sunday – Evan Ferguson to score (Brighton vs Sheffield United)

Brighton may face a visit to Ajax in midweek, but Evan Ferguson has seen his European minutes limited this term. The Irishman has made seven starts in the Premier League this term and a meeting with the league’s bottom side is a great opportunity for him.

Each of Ferguson’s five league goals this term have come at the Amex, finding the net against Fulham in their last home match. The Blades have conceded 14 times across five league trips so back Ferguson to find the net.
