Huge 55,015/1 winners treble for this week's golf tournaments

There is action from the PGA Tour, DP World Tour and LIV Golf this week and that means one thing – Racing Post golf expert Steve Palmer has put together a huge winners treble for us.

This week’s offering comes in at a mammoth 55,015/1 and, as always, punters are advised to back this as an each-way bet.

55,015/1 Golf each-way treble

LIV Golf has an army of critics for various reasons, but on weeks like this one, the controversial breakaway circuit adds some sparkle into the lives of golf punters the world over.

LIV Golf Chicago starts on Friday, which means there are three top-class golf tournaments taking place, presenting the opportunity for an each-way treble.

The place odds in each-way trebles are always full of juice, let alone the win odds, so these are the weeks when it is possible to win a huge amount of money from a small stake.

The three players nominated to deliver a magical Sunday are Rasmus Hojgaard, Maverick McNealy and Sam Horsfield.

Hojgaard is a 45/1 chance for the Italian Open at Marco Simone GC, where he finished 18th last year.

He arrived jaded after a victory in the European Masters, improving his score each day. This time, his preparation seems perfect, and the classy Danish youngster appears to be peaking for the Italian Open.

The new PGA Tour season starts with the Fortinet Championship at Silverado in California, where home-state hero Maverick McNealy could be set for a breakthrough triumph.

The 25/1 shot has a great record in the Golden State and has looked a likely PGA Tour champion for a while. He led the Fortinet Championship for a long way last year, eventually finishing runner-up.

Complete a 55,015/1 treble by adding 45/1 LIV Golf Chicago poke Sam Horsfield.

This week’s LIV venue – Rich Harvest Farms – is new to most of the field. Horsfield, though, has positive course experience, having finished third in the strokeplay section of the 2015 Western Amateur Championship there.

He tamed the track when he was 18 and returns as a 25-year-old who has found some form, having gone 16 under par for his last four competitive rounds.
