Huge 883/1 double for the Charles Schwab Challenge & Dutch Open

After last week’s thrilling US PGA Championship, there is a high-class field teeing it up at Colonial Country Club to contest the PGA Tour’s Charles Schwab Challenge with last week’s runners-up Viktor Hovland and Scottie Scheffler both in attendance.

Meanwhile, the DP World Tour resumes in Europe with the Dutch Open, where defending champion Victor Perez heads to Bernardus golf in a bid to continue his fine form having finished 12th in New York.

Joe Champion has put together an each-way double for this week’s action which pays 883/1 with bet365, where new customers can get £30 in free bets when they place a £10 bet using the button below.

Justin Rose returned from a four-week break to finish ninth at Oak Hill and he could well be fresher than most when he tees it up in the Charles Schwab Challenge.

Colonial, where Rose won in 2018 and finished third in a super-strong post-lockdown field in 2020, sets up well for a player who is becoming increasingly reliant on tee-to-green accuracy as he has been left behind off the tee by some of the longer hitters.

Rose, already a winner at Pebble Beach this season, has form figures of 6-36-16-25-9 from his last five PGA Tour tournaments and this looks a good opportunity for him to double up.

In the Netherlands, Adrian Meronk and Perez lead the market but four rounds at the US PGA might not be ideal preparation for this much easiest test and those who didn’t tee it up Stateside are preferred.

Jorge Campillo missed the cut in the Soudal Open last time out but had previously been in fine form, chalking up DP World Tour form figures of 4-1-9-3-8 in five starts before failing to make the weekend at Rinkven International.

Campillo putted abysmally in Belgium but his long-game was still in excellent shape and there is every chance he bounces back at a venue where he finished 21st in 2022.
