  • Both Eintracht Frankfurt and Valencia have posted comparably unremarkable 1st and 2nd half goals figures – 46.4% the Bundesliga outfit’s UEL goals were registered in the 1st half and 53.6% in the 2nd, while Valencia’s equivalent 1st and 2nd scoring percentages stand at 45.4% and 54.6%.*

BTTS in 1st and 2nd half

  • Eintracht Frankfurt’s Europa League matches are out on their own in terms of producing the both teams to score in either half goods this season, especially when compared to the other 3 Semi Final competitors. Both teams found the net in the 1st half of 3 of the German club’s 12 Europa League matches this season and goals went in at either end 5 times in the 2nd half of the same dozen games.
  • Chelsea’s 1st and 2nd half BTTS stats are only slightly less modest than their Semi Final opponents – both teams scored in the 1st half of 2 of their UEL fixtures, and in the 2nd half of 4 of their games.
  • Both teams registered just once in the 1st half and 2nd half of Arsenal’s games respectively however, while Valencia’s stats match their Thursday host’s figures exactly.

  • The Blues won 11 of their 12 matches on their way to a securing a place in the Semi Finals of the tournament, drawing the other at Vidi. Chelsea went in front in Hungary last December, but eventually had to settle for a point in their Group Stage clash.
  • Arsenal fell behind only once in their 12 Europa League fixtures this season, when they played away at BATE Borisov in the competition’s Group Stage. The Gunners didn’t recover from their early set-back and lost 1-0.
