Experts’ 9/2 European cup winners treble

Champions League – Los Blancos to run out of luck against Liverpool

Aaron Rogan

Real Madrid’s incredible run has been the highlight of this season’s Champions League but it’s hard to see Liverpool allowing that to continue.

The Reds have already put one overstretched Spanish side out of the competition in Villarreal and they should prove too strong for Real.

Henry Hardwicke

Sports journalist for Racing Post

Real Madrid have seen off Chelsea and Manchester City but they are likely to be foiled by their third English opponent in the final.

Liverpool are a winning machine and they have no issue in handling the occasion of a Champions League final.

Ian Wilkerson

Sports journalist for Racing Post

Real Madrid have had a remarkable run to the Champions League final and I think they can finish the job.

They may not be as strong as Liverpool but mentally they have demonstrated enormous resolve to bounce back when they seemed destined to be dumped out by Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City, and we have yet to see what resolve Liverpool possess when their backs are against the wall. I fancy the Spaniards to complete an amazing job.

Joe Casey

Sports journalist for Racing Post

In the Champions League final it’s hard to look past Liverpool. Real Madrid pulled off a miraculous comeback against Manchester City in the semi-final but they may have exhausted their good fortune and Jurgen Klopp’s side can get revenge for their defeat in the 2018 final. The Reds are a more balanced side than Los Blancos.

James Milton

Sports journalist for Racing Post

Having come through breathless knockout ties against Paris St-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City, Real Madrid would be worthy winners of the Champions League but I expect them to come up short against a rock-solid Liverpool defence.

Tom Hill

Sports journalist for ICS

The Champions League final should be a fascinating battle between two of Europe’s best, but Real Madrid’s luck may have run out.

Carlo Ancelotti’s side looked to be on the verge of crashing out during matches against Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea and Manchester City, but they found a way to win. Liverpool’s squad will want revenge for the 2018 final, and Jurgen Klopp’s side looks well balanced and relatively injury-free at a crucial period.

Rob Eddy

Sports journalist for ICS

The Champions League draw could not have worked out any better for Liverpool with all of the big boys knocked out by someone else. Real Madrid have been dominated by too many teams in too many games for me to think they have a realistic chance and I am surprised they are not a bigger price.

Europa League – Unbeaten Eagles to break Scottish hearts

Aaron Rogan

Sports journalist for Free Super Tips

It’s hard to see this being the season of the underdog in Europe, with Rangers facing a tough task against an Eintracht Frankfurt side who are unbeaten in Europe this term. The Bundesliga outfit have dumped out Barcelona and West Ham so far, so they should lift the trophy.

Henry Hardwicke

Sports journalist for Racing Post

Rangers have beaten two German opponents on their run to the Europa League final and they can make it a hattrick when they tackle Eintracht Frankfurt. The Gers have been superb in this competition, beating Leipzig and Borussia Dortmund and Frankfurt gave up plenty of chances in their semi-final against West Ham.

Ian Wilkerson

Sports journalist for Racing Post

The Eintracht Frankfurt clash with Rangers could be an epic and I’ll take the Scots to secure a memorable success. The Germans got the better of both games against West Ham but the Hammers seem to be running on empty and Frankfurt’s league form has been patchy for a little while, so Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s side have a great chance in my book.

Joe Casey

Sports journalist for Racing Post

It is an amazing achievement for Rangers to have reached the Europa League final but they may come up short against an Eintracht Frankfurt team who outclassed Barcelona and West Ham in the last two rounds. The German side are unbeaten in their 12 European games this year.

James Milton

Sports journalist for Racing Post

Opposing Rangers in Europe has been an expensive betting strategy this season and they are worth backing to upset Eintracht Frankfurt in the Europa League final. The Gers were good value for their semi-final win over RB Leipzig, who are well clear of Frankfurt in the Bundesliga.

Tom Hill

Sports journalist for ICS

While it would be fantastic to see another British winner of a European competition, Rangers will do well to overcome Eintracht Frankfurt. The Bundesliga outfit have already outclassed both Barcelona and West Ham, and tactically, they seem better equipped for the task at hand. Frankfurt are yet to lose in the Europa League this season, and that record should continue later this month.

Rob Eddy

Sports journalist for ICS

Eintracht Frankfurt have proven their worth in the Europa League as they are on a 12-match unbeaten run in the competition, knocking out Barcelona, Real Betis and West Ham. Rangers have done fantastically to get this far but they do not have fortress Ibrox to turn this match in their favour.

Europa Conference League – Free-scoring Feye have the edge in Tirana

Aaron Rogan

Sports journalist for Free Super Tips

Jose Mourinho always looked destined to complete a hat-trick of European trophies and his Roma side should overcome Feyenoord.

Henry Hardwicke

Sports journalist for Racing Post

I think Feyenoord may do a job on Jose Mourinho’s Roma. Arne Slot’s men score plenty of goals and even a Mourinho defensive masterclass might not be enough to stop the Rotterdam outfit.

Ian Wilkerson

Sports journalist for Racing Post

The Europa Conference League may have its sceptics but Jose Mourinho won’t be one of them, so his Roma team will be fully charged for their clash against Feyenoord. I fully expect the Wolves to come out on top of that one.

Joe Casey

Sports journalist for Racing Post

Feyenoord did well to see off a threatening Marseille side in the semi-final and their chances of lifting the inaugural Europa Conference League may be underestimated. Leicester seemed to simply run out of steam against Roma and the Dutch side may be able to pose a stronger challenge than the Foxes did.

James Milton

Sports journalist for Racing Post

Roma look unconvincing favourites in the Conference League final and free-scoring Feyenoord, who beat a classy Marseille side in the semis, could dash Jose Mourinho’s hopes of another European trophy.

Tom Hill

Sports journalist for ICS

After battling past Marseille in the semi-finals, Feyenoord will fancy their chances in the Europa Conference League final, but master tactician Jose Mourinho will have a plan up his sleeve and should be able to guide Roma to glory.

Rob Eddy

Sports journalist for ICS

Jose Mourinho’s pragmatism may just get the better of him in the Europa Conference League and Feyenoord offer plenty of value to take advantage, having scored 28 goals in a 12-game unbeaten run to reach the final. At odds of better than 2/1, I’m happy to take a chance.
