132/1 In The Mixer Nations League Accumulator Tip

Joe Casey – Iceland to beat Montenegro

Montenegro have lost six games on the spin and it is hard to fancy them as favourites when they take on Iceland on Saturday.

Iceland were 2-0 winners when these two teams met back in September and have since held Wales to a 2-2 draw.

The visitors have found the net seven times in their last four games, a tally that is in sharp contrast with Montenegro’s one goal from their last four outings.

Youngster Orri Oskarsson has already made an impression at Real Sociedad and has four goals for his national team at just 20 years old, he could be the difference between these two teams.

Rob Eddy – Slovenia to beat Norway

Slovenia look a great price at 2-1 as the home side when they take on Norway on Thursday, with Stale Solbakken’s men having struggled on the road of late.

These two sides, together with Austria, are locked on seven points, but Erling Haaland could be the major reason Norway have been installed as the favourites.

Slovenia are unbeaten in 15 games at home and have won two of the last three at home against Norway (the other drawn), while the visitors have won just one of their last seven away. A 0-0 draw at group whipping boys Kazakhstan also does not look great for the visitors, although a recent four-game run of 1-1 draws might make the 11-10 on Slovenia in the draw no bet market the safer play.

Henry Hardwicke – Italy to beat Belgium

I think there is a lot to like about the 15-8 on offer about Italy winning in Belgium on Thursday night.

The Azzurri gave up a two-goal lead against Belgium at the Stadio Olimpico earlier in the campaign, but Luciano Spalletti’s side have beaten France, recorded two victories over Israel, and are pushing for top spot in the section.

Spalletti’s men appear a progressive outfit and there is plenty riding on Thursday’s clash for the Italians.

The same can’t be said for the regressive Red Devils, who have won only two of their last eight games.

James Milton – Switzerland to beat Serbia

Switzerland impressed at Euro 2024, beating Italy in the round of 16 before losing on penalties to England, but they have made a patchy start to their Nations League campaign.

They ended September’s 2-0 defeat to Denmark with nine men and lost 4-1 at home to ten-man Spain before a 2-0 defeat in Serbia and a 2-2 home draw with the Danes last month.

However, the Swiss dominated possession against Serbia and had 11 shots to their opponents’ seven so they should be backed to avenge that defeat on Friday, especially as the Serbs have failed to score in five of their last seven internationals.

Aidan Perkins – Romania to beat Kosovo

Romania should have too much quality for Kosovo at home on Friday when the top two in Group C2 meet in Bucharest.

Both countries are already assured of at least a place in the promotion play-offs in the Nations League after a good showing in the group so far, with the hosts looking to seal automatic promotion up to Group B with another win after four victories from four.

Romania beat Kosovo 3-0 away in September and can make it a double, even though Kosovo have impressed with three straight wins of their own over Cyprus (twice) and Lithuania in their recent outings.

Aaron Rogan – Over 2.5 goals Sweden vs Slovakia

Alexander Isak and Viktor Gyokeres clicked as a strike partnership in September’s internationals, with the pair scoring three goals apiece across clashes with Azerbaijan and Estonia.

Even with Isak missing for the October games, Sweden struck five goals in trips to Slovakia and Estonia. The Newcastle forward returns to the mix for Saturday’s clash with Slovakia, joining Gyokeres and Dejan Kulusevski up top. Given that attacking approach from the Swedes, over 2.5 goals in Solna is a standout bet.
