The pick of the weekend’s FA Cup fourth-round ties comes at the Etihad, where title rivals Manchester City and Arsenal meet in search of more silverware. The champions and the challengers each have a strong record in this competition, but one will bow out at the second hurdle.

We’ve already taken a look at this game in depth in our Manchester City vs Arsenal predictions, but below you can find our Ultimate Bet Builder for the contest, featuring four selections which can be backed at 113/1. The third round’s Friday night action brought a 51/1 Bet Builder winner and we’re hoping for a repeat.

Manchester City vs Arsenal Bet Builder tips

Eddie Nketiah to score

While the upcoming Premier League battles between these two could see Gabriel Jesus taking on his replacement in Erling Haaland, the cup clash is likely an opportunity for the understudies. Eddie Nketiah has been in stellar form for the Gunners with Jesus out injured, with his brace on Sunday helping them to a huge win over Manchester United.

Nketiah has scored seven goals across his last seven games, including another brace in the third round of this competition. His brilliant run should see him worry Man City on Friday night, with the Premier League champions going through a rocky spell defensively.

Julian Alvarez 2+ shots on target

At the other end of the pitch, City have a capable backup to Haaland in World Cup winner Alvarez. He’s averaged 1.5 shots on target per 90 minutes in the Premier League this term, while he’s scored in both cup competitions and the Champions League since arriving at the Etihad in the summer.

In two cup clashes with Chelsea this term he’s recorded two shots on target, while he finished with 1.6 shots on target per 90 minutes in Qatar. The forward should trouble Arsenal at the back and with plenty of chances expected in this one, look to Alvarez to get another couple of shots on goal.

Rodri to be carded

Rodri leads City’s players in terms of fouls per game in both the Premier League and EFL Cup this term, while he’s also averaged 1.4 fouls per game in the Champions League. The Spaniard has six yellow cards for City this season across four competitions, including the win over Chelsea in the last round.

Rodri has been carded in four of his nine games since returning from the World Cup and he’s a great option to pick up a card in this clash.

Arsenal to receive the most cards

While Rodri is a good card option, the Gunners as a team look likely to be the side in trouble most frequently. The disciplinary comparison between them in the Premier League this term shows a huge gap, with City picking up 20 cards to Arsenal’s 33.

The Gunners have averaged two yellows per away trip in the league this term and while they came through a visit to Oxford without a caution, expect it to be a very different story at the Etihad.

These two have been battling at the top of the table all season without meeting so far and with a few backup players stepping in for this huge clash this should be an intense affair. So far the Gunners look the most foul-happy of the two sides and City average the fewest fouls per game in the league this term, so back Arsenal to receive the most cards.
