The Premier League is heading for an international break, but first we have a full round of fixtures to enjoy. You can find our betting thoughts on those on our Premier League predictions page, while here we’re diving into this week’s Fantasy Football tips.

We’ve had quite a high-scoring start to the new season, but trusted figures like Mo Salah and Bruno Fernandes failed to deliver last week. That could lead to FPL bosses hitting the panic button. If that’s you, then you’re in luck. Below you’ll find 10 selections, a transfer tip for every match from Gameweek three.

Fantasy Premier League tips for GW3

Man City vs Arsenal

Raheem Sterling has had a hand in seven goals across his last six Premier League appearances against Arsenal (5 goals, 2 assists).

The England star scored in each of his last four against the Gunners, netting the only goal in both clashes last term. He’s also likely to get a clean sheet point, with Arsenal’s shots so far averaging an expected goals total of just 0.06.

FPL transfer tip: Raheem Sterling (£11m)

Aston Villa vs Brentford

Aston Villa have scored four goals from just four shots on target in the Premier League this season and that clinical finishing should continue.

El Ghazi scored from the spot against Newcastle and Villa have had a penalty in both games so far. It’s not beyond El Ghazi to add to his haul so far with a goal, while he’s likely to get plenty of penalties this term.

FPL transfer tip: Anwar El Ghazi (£6m)

Brighton vs Everton

While there’s a rush to get Dominic Calvert-Lewin (£8.2m) his strike partner Richarlison is cheaper. Everton’s attack have impressed, with the third-highest shots on target (14) so far.

Richarlison is a value option to capitalise on that, as he has been involved in more Premier League goals for the Toffees than any other player (42 – 34 goals, 8 assists) since joining in 2018.

FPL transfer tip: Richarlison (£7.6m)

Newcastle vs Southampton

Newcastle have won 14 Premier League home games against Southampton, so their players are good options here. While there are good attacking options at the Magpies, there is another way to go.

Only Trent Alexander-Arnold (10) has created more chances in the opening two Premier League games this season than Newcastle’s Matt Ritchie (9).

FPL transfer tip: Matt Ritchie (£5m)

Norwich vs Leicester

Leicester have won five of their last six away league games against promoted sides so don’t let their defeat last weekend put you off here. Meanwhile, Norwich have shipped eight goals across their opening two defeats.

Jamie Vardy isn’t justifying his hefty price tag, while he’s been outscored by Youri Tielemans who is £4m cheaper. The Belgian midfielder has already scored this term and he’s posting good numbers in terms of shots and key passes so look to him to score highly here.

FPL transfer tip: Youri Tielemans (£6.5m)

West Ham vs Crystal Palace

West Ham boast the highest expected goals tally of any Premier League side after two games this season (5.3). They face a struggling Crystal Palace side who have failed to win in their last 10 meetings with London sides.

Saïd Benrahma has played a key role in that great start. He has been involved in seven goals in his last seven Premier League games (3 goals, 4 assists).

FPL transfer tip: Saïd Benrahma (£6.2m)

Liverpool vs Chelsea

Both sides have made a good start with six points and two clean sheets. Chelsea will look to shatter Liverpool’s resolve here and the main weapon they have to do that isn’t Romelu Lukaku, who has scored in just one of his last 11 against the Reds.

The Blues’ wing-backs are the ones to watch here. They’ve scored in four of their last six Premier League games and Alonso is a brilliant FPL weapon. Back him him here before his price rises again.

FPL transfer tip: Marcos Alonso (£5.6m)

Burnley vs Leeds

Burnley have lost each of their last five Premier League games at Turf Moor, with their lack of goals hampering them. The Clarets have scored just 15 league goals at Turf Moor since the start of last season (20 games).

Leeds are a much more creative side and they’re the ones to get behind here. Since Raphinha’s Premier League debut, no player has made more assists in the competition than the Brazilian (9).

FPL transfer tip: Raphinha (£6.5m)

Spurs vs Watford

Harry Kane is back and Son Heung-Min has impressed so far, but I can see Steven Berwijn building on a stronger start at a much cheaper price.

The winger has averaged 2.68 shots per 90 minutes and he’s also made 2.14 key passes per game. He’s got a good xG return so far and he set up the winner against Man City, so look to Bergwijn to make an impact again.

FPL transfer tip: Steven Bergwijn (£6m)

Wolves vs Man United

Manchester United have made a great start going forward, but last time out both Fernandes and Pogba failed to hit the heights expected of them. Instead, Mason Greenwood delivered for the second game in a row.

He’s recorded 18 points so far and his place as the frontman in this United side makes him look like great value. He’s averaging four shots per game and he’s scored two goals from an xG of 0.35, cementing his status as one of the best finishers at United. In a very creative side, Greenwood looks good to deliver.

FPL transfer tip: Mason Greenwood (£7.6m)
