An impressive qualifying campaign resulted in Northern Ireland topping their group which included Romania, Hungary and Greece. They only lost one match during qualification, but can they step it up against mightily tough opposition in Euro 2016 Group C? They start against Poland and then face Ukraine before coming up against one of the favourites for the Euros, Germany.

Manager Michael O’Neill and the whole country would have been sweating at the sight of Kyle Lafferty pulling up in training, but thankfully their top qualifying scorer looks set to be OK for the opener against Poland on 12th June after receiving good news from his scan.

Unfortunately for Northern Ireland we can’t see them getting a point, let alone progressing through this group. Back them at 3/1 to get knocked out without registering a single point here.
