9/1 Premier League cards & corners accumulator
Wolves vs Brighton
Wolves and Brighton may have spent the entire season struggling for goals, but one thing neither team is short on is corners.
Both teams sit in the top six when it comes to corners won in their respective home and away games, and they’re not shy in giving them away either. That yields an average of over ten corners per game for Wolves and Brighton, so backing the over 9 corners line is an attractive option.
Betting tip: Over 9.0 corners
Aston Villa vs Manchester United
As you can see from the handy infographic our excellent data visualisation team have put together, Aston Villa and Manchester United both rank among the top five when it comes to picking up cards, accumulating 114 yellows and four reds between them this season.
Villa’s top flight matches have seen an average of 3.85 cards per game and with the visitors hitting 3.55 cards per game it’s worth taking the overs at Villa Park.
Betting tip: Over 3.5 cards
West Ham vs Everton
The infographic above is relevant at the London Stadium as well, with Everton ranking sixth in booking points having collected 54 yellows and two reds. That record gets even worse when they leave Goodison Park.
Only Sheffield United have picked up more cards away from home than The Toffees, with Carlo Ancelotti’s side averaging two cards per game. West Ham, meanwhile, have seen their opponents carded 1.47 times per game at home this term.
Betting tip: Everton over 1.5 team cards
Arsenal vs West Brom
The soon-t0-be-relegated West Brom look set to return to the Championship with the worst defensive record in the Premier League, and the same can be said about the somewhat less important corners conceded count.
They have allowed their opponents 232 corners over the course of the season and away from home their average rises to 7.47 corners conceded per game. Arsenal may be lacking in results but they have won just shy of six corners per game at home this term and can boost their set piece count further on Sunday.
Betting tip: Arsenal over 6.5 team corners
Best value single – Tom Davies to be booked
Tom Davies is set to start in the middle of the park for the card-happy Everton when they visit West Ham on Sunday and history suggests he could find himself in the referee’s bad books.
The 22-year-old midfielder has averaged a card every 164 minutes when facing The Hammers and he picked up a card against Tottenham in his last start for The Toffees.
