Stoke vs Manchester City – Sat 5th Dec – 12:45

Stoke will be hoping to welcome back Marco Muniesa in time for Manchester City’s visit. The same can’t be said of Peter Crouch, Peter Odemwingie, and Shay Given though, with the former two suffering from hamstring injuries and the latter still out with a knee problem.

Joe Hart and Sergio Aguero should have recovered in time for Saturday’s match for Manchester City. Pablo Zabaleta, Vincent Kompany, Fernando, and Jesus Navas are still a couple of weeks away though, with Samir Nasri out until April with a badly torn hamstring.

Watford vs Norwich – Sat 5th Dec – 15:00

Heurelho Gomes and Adleine Guedioura are both slight doubts for Watford, whilst Valon Behrami and Sebastian Prodl won’t be back in action until the middle of the month. Joel Ekstrand will return from his long injury layoff in the new year.

Alexander Tettey should have recovered in time to visit Watford on Saturday. Matt Jarvis is the only other injury problem for Norwich, with his knee injury keeping him out until next weekend.

West Brom vs Tottenham Hotspur – Sat 5th Dec – 15:00

West Brom are looking good as far as injury concerns go. Ben Foster is the only confirmed absentee. He is still recovering from his ACL knee injury and won’t be back until the beginning of January 2016.

Tottenham Hotspur will be without Nacer Chadli, Ryan Mason, and Nassim Bentaleb until the middle of December, whilst Alex Pritchard won’t be back until February due to his ankle problems.

Manchester United vs West Ham – Sat 5th Dec – 15:00

Marcos Rojo has been ruled out for a while after suffering a dislocated shoulder. He joins a number of other high profile absentees, with Wayne Rooney, Ander Herrera, Phil Jones also out until the middle of December. Antonio Valencia and Luke Shaw are both out for quite a few months yet. On the plus side, Jesse Lingard should have recovered in time to make the squad against West Ham.

West Ham’s star playmaker Dimitri Payet has made no miracle recovery and is still going to be out until February. Diafra Sakho’s thigh strain is going to keep him out until March as well, adding to West Ham’s woes. Enner Valencia should be back before Christmas though.

Southampton vs Aston Villa – Sat 5th Dec – 15:00

Jose Fonte is a slight doubt for Southampton coming into this game, but he should be okay. The same can’t be said for Jay Rodriguez though, who is back on the sidelines until the end of January. Florin Gardos and Fraser Forster continue to frequent the injury list with their knee problems, which will keep them out for the majority of the season.

Gary Gardner could return to the pitch for the first time since pre season this weekend, although he might not be risked. Gabby Agbonlahor and Micah Richards are both doubtful for the trip to Southampton as well.

Arsenal vs Sunderland – Sat 5th Dec – 15:00

The injury crisis worsens for Arsenal. Alexis Sanchez has been ruled out until Boxing Day after limping off with a hamstring injury last weekend. He joins Santi Cazorla, Francis Coquelin, Mikel Arteta, Theo Walcott, Jack Wilshere, Tomas Rosicky, and Danny Welbeck on the injury list, who are all out for between a week and four months. Laurent Koscielny, who also limped off last weekend, is a slight doubt for Sunderland’s visit.

Sunderland are missing a trio of players this weekend, with Jermain Defoe, Jack Rodwell, and Sebastian Larsson all expected back next weekend.

Swansea vs Leicester – Sat 5th Dec – 15:00

Swansea may be struggling on the field but their physio’s are still earning their pay packet. They remain towards the bottom of the injury list with just a single absentee. Frank Tabanou has picked up a thigh injury and won’t be back for three weeks.

Leicester’s Rickie De Laet has been ruled out until the beginning of January this week. He should be back in action at the same time as Matthew James, who is finally looking towards making a return after his ACL knee injury.

Chelsea vs Bournemouth – Sat 5th Dec – 17:30

Thibaut Courtois could be back in between the sticks for Chelsea on Saturday, although both him and Nemanja Matic are doubts for Bournemouth’s visit. Ramires, John Terry, and Radamel Falcao are all a couple of weeks away from a return to action though.

Bournemouth are the most injury hit side in the Premier League. Not only do they have ten players missing or doubtful for this game, but some of their casualties are key players for them. Callum Wilson, Max Gradel, and Tyrone Mings are all key player long term absentees, with their knee injuries keeping them out for most of the season, of not all of it. Meanwhile, Adam Federici, Harry Arter, Lee Tomlin, Artur Boruc, Marc Pugh, Christian Atsu, and Tommy Elphick are expected to be missing.

Newcastle vs Liverpool – Sun 6th Dec – 16:00

Newcastle aren’t doing much better than Bournemouth as far as injuries go. Mike Williamson, Jamal Lascelles, Cheikh Tiote, Massadio Haidara, Rolando Aarons, Tim Krul, Gabriel Obertan, Steven Taylor, Emmanuel Riviere, and Craig Good are all going to miss out for between a few days and the rest of the season.

Liverpool’s Danny Ings and Joe Gomez are the two long term absentees for them, with rupture knee ligaments keeping them out for the rest of the season. Phillipe Coutinho is a slight doubt for their visit to Newcastle, but he should be okay to play. Jon Flanagan and Mamadhou Sakho are both expected back at some point in December.

Everton vs Crystal Palace – Mon 7th Dec – 20:00

James McCarthy is a large doubt ahead of Everton’s match against Crystal Palace. There’s no such doubt for Tyias Browning, Stephen Pienaar, Tony Hibbert, Phil Jagielka, and Bryan Oviedo though, who are all confirmed absentees.

Dwight Gayle should have shaken off his hamstring problem by the time Crystal Palace visit Everton. Bakary Sako will have to wait another week before his hamstring injury is repaired, while Kwesi Appiah is going to be out for most of the season.
