Football Betting Tips
Premier League Mega Accumulator Tip
Fewer than three goals have been scored in eight of Everton’s last 10 away league trips. The Toffees are defending well and can limit the goals against a Bees side that has drawn a blank in three of their last five home league games. Fewer than three goals have been scored in four of Brentford’s last six home games too.
Both teams have scored in nine of Ipswich’s last 11 away games in all competitions and looks set to land again as these two underperforming sides face off.
Nottingham Forest have only lost two competitive home games all season and have won six and drawn one of their last seven at The City Ground, with their one failure to win coming against Liverpool. Arsenal have failed to win eight of their 19 competitive away days this season.
Manchester City have been through a dreadful week after being knocked out of the Champions League and then losing to Liverpool, and Tottenham can take advantage after three straight league wins
Liverpool put themselves 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League with Sunday’s win over Manchester City and they can follow up with a win over Newcastle. Five of the Magpies’s last seven games have produced over 3.5 goals, though, and a high-scoring Reds win is the way to go.
Bet To Net Super Mega Accumulator Tip
Yoann Wissa has scored 12 goals in 22 Premier League starts and one substitute appearance. He has the fifth-highest xG per 90 in the top-flight behind only Mo Salah, Erling Haaland, Alexander Isak and Ollie Watkins.
Liam Delap has ten league goals this season, six more than any other Ipswich player, and he could get on the scoresheet once again.
Chris Wood laid on an assist at the weekend but can return to the scoresheet here. Ten of his 18 Premier League goals have come on home soil and he has scored eight and assisted three in his last eight league appearances.
Dejan Kulusevski took his seasonal tally to ten goals with a strike in Saturday’s 4-1 win at Ipswich and the Swede can make a further contribution on Wednesday.
Mohamed Amoura has scored nine Bundesliga goals this season and bagged two in the Wolves’ 5-1 win at Red Bull Arena in November. He is in good form after hitting four goals in his last eight appearances and recently took on penalty-taking duty for the club.
Francisco Conceicao has been in good form for Juventus of late and scored their winner at home to Inter Milan recently. He also scored in Juve’s 4-1 win over Empoli earlier this month and could torment the Azzurri, who have shipped eight goals in their past two games, again.
Hotshot Mo Salah cannot stop scoring, having netted against Manchester City last time out, and the 25-goal forward can get on the scoresheet against the Magpies.
Endrick has delivered goals at an impressive rate in his limited opportunities this season. His five goals in all competitions have come in 400 total minutes and this could be another chance for him to start, as he has done in two of Real Madrid’s three Copa del Rey ties this term.
Goals Galore Accumulator Tip
Fewer than three goals have been scored in eight of Everton’s last 10 away league trips. The Toffees are defending well and can limit the goals against a Bees side that has drawn a blank in three of their last five home league games. Fewer than three goals have been scored in four of Brentford’s last six home games too.
At least four goals have been scored in five of RB Leipzig’s last nine home games and also in six of Wolfsburg’s last 10 away games. The attacking nature of both teams, plus their defensive flaws, should ensure there are enough chances for a few goals in the 90 minutes.
Juventus have won five of their last six games in all competitions with over 2.5 goals in three. They are much more potent after the acquisition of Randal Kolo Muani and should have enough firepower to get past an Empoli side that have lost six of their last seven games in all competitions with over 2.5 goals in five.
Liverpool put themselves 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League with Sunday’s win over Manchester City and they can follow up with a win over Newcastle. Five of the Magpies’s last seven games have produced over 3.5 goals, though, and a high-scoring Reds win is the way to go.
Premier League Scorers Treble Tip
Yoann Wissa has scored 12 goals in 22 Premier League starts and one substitute appearance. He has the fifth-highest xG per 90 in the top-flight behind only Mo Salah, Erling Haaland, Alexander Isak and Ollie Watkins.
Chris Wood laid on an assist at the weekend but can return to the scoresheet here. Ten of his 18 Premier League goals have come on home soil and he has scored eight and assisted three in his last eight league appearances.
Hotshot Mo Salah cannot stop scoring, having netted against Manchester City last time out, and the 25-goal forward can get on the scoresheet against the Magpies.
Both Teams To Score Double Tip
Both teams have scored in nine of Ipswich’s last 11 away games in all competitions and looks set to land again as these two underperforming sides face off.
Both teams have scored in six of Tottenham’s last eight matches and in each of Man City’s last four away games.
Both Teams To Score & Win Treble Tip
Manchester City have been through a dreadful week after being knocked out of the Champions League and then losing to Liverpool, and Tottenham can take advantage after three straight league wins. Both teams have scored in six of Tottenham’s last eight matches.
St Mirren stunned Rangers at Ibrox in the last round of games but could be brought back down to earth at Tynecastle. Hearts have won six of their last nine, losing just once, but they have conceded in five of their last six home games so back the Buddies to strike in defeat.
Juventus have won five of their last six games in all competitions with over 2.5 goals in three. They are much more potent after the acquisition of Randal Kolo Muani and should have enough firepower to get past an Empoli side that have lost six of their last seven games in all competitions. Empoli did score in defeat at Juve in Serie A earlier this month, and can get on the scoresheet again in this cup tie.
Accumulator Tip
Both teams have scored in six of Tottenham’s last eight matches and in each of Man City’s last four away games.
Hibs are one of the Premiership’s form teams and no side has bettered their total of 22 points from the last 10 games. The Edinburgh club are unbeaten in 13 across all competitions and claimed a win over Celtic at the weekend, they can back that up with another three points against a Dundee United side who have six defeats in their last eight games.
Ross County have hit a bit of form and they head to bottom club St Johnstone seeking a third straight win. Ross County have won four of their last five away and can pile more misery on Saints, who have lost their last two and have 18 defeats in 27 league games this season.
Real Madrid, who are in good form and going for glory on all fronts, have won their last three matches against Real Sociedad. They should get the better of a Real Sociedad team that is short of experienced defenders and could start academy star Jon Martin at centre-back.
Bet Of The Day Tip
Hibs are one of the Premiership’s form teams and no side has bettered their total of 22 points from the last 10 games. The Edinburgh club are unbeaten in 13 across all competitions and claimed a win over Celtic at the weekend, they can back that up with another three points against a Dundee United side who have six defeats in their last eight games.
Correct Score Double Tip
Juventus beat Empoli 4-1 in Serie A less than a month ago but this could be tighter as the visitors know that if they hold out for 90 minutes they could potentially cause an upset on penalties. Juve have scored multiple goals in seven of their last 10 games, however, and Empoli have shipped 14 in their last five road trips, so a 2-1 win looks possible.
Real Madrid beat Real Sociedad 2-0 at the Anoeta in September and it would be no surprise to see that score repeated with the visitors returning to full strength at the back. The wealth of attacking options open to Carlo Ancelotti means he can freshen up and keep stars on the bench ready to come on and play a decisive role when the game gets stretched.
Liverpool vs Newcastle Bet Builder Tip
Mohamed Salah To Score Anytime
Mohamed Salah is the Premier League’s leading scorer with 25 goals and he’s scored in each of his last eight appearances across all competitions.
Alexander Isak To Have 2+ Shots On Target
Newcastle star Alexander Isak averages 2.8 shots per-game in the league and exactly half of those are on target , with a further 0.8 per-game blocked, so he can test the keeper at least twice.
Bruno Guimaraes To Be Shown A Card
Bruno Guimaraes has a respectable four yellow cards in 26 Premier League games this season but perhaps could have a few more. The Newcastle midfielder averages 1.5 fouls per-game and has been booked in two of his last four appearances across all competitions.
Dominik Szoboszlai To Commit 2+ Fouls
Liverpool midfielder Dominik Szoboszlai is averaging 1.3 fouls per-game in the league and he’s committed at least two in five of his last nine league games.
Overnight Treble Tip
Pachuca have won just one of their last five Mexico Liga MX games and have not been at their best on home soil this season, dropping points in two of their four home matches, while Puebla have won two of their last four outings and have only lost one of four away games this term.
Toluca are unbeaten across their last five Mexico Liga MX games and thrashed Juarez 4-0 last time out, while Queretaro have taken just one point away from home this season.
Atletico San Luis are rooted to the bottom of the Mexico Liga MX table with three points from eight games, which came from a sole win away from home in January, meaning they have lost seven of their eight games and all four home assignments. Guadalajara have won two, drawn one, and lost one of their last four matches and should be able to take all three points here.
Overnight Best Bet Tip
Pachuca have won just one of their last five Mexico Liga MX games and have not been at their best on home soil this season, dropping points in two of their four home matches, while Puebla have won two of their last four outings and have only lost one of four away games this term.
West Ham vs Leicester Bet Builder Tip
Jarrod Bowen to score or assist
Jarrod Bowen was the difference maker against Arsenal last time out as he scored the winner at the Emirates, with that strike being his seventh Premier League goal of the season.
He has four assists to add to this, and his last eight top-flight outings have yielded five goal involvements. Bowen has five goal contributions in seven meetings with Leicester and could make it back-to-back wins for West Ham.
Tomas Soucek to be shown a card
Tomas Soucek is joint-top of the West Ham charts for yellow cards received in the Premier League this season and he could add to his eight-card tally on Thursday.
Soucek has been carded in three of his last six Premier League fixtures and two of his last three at home and looks a great price for this hosting of Leicester.
Edson Alvarez to commit 3+ fouls
Edson Alvarez tops the West Ham charts for fouls committed in the Premier League with an average of 2.24 fouls per 90 minutes, but the Mexican has increased his output in recent times.
Alvarez, who has been booked eight times in the league this season, has committed three or more fouls in each of his last five matches.
Jordan Ayew to be fouled 2+ times
Jordan Ayew has been a foul magnet for years, and this season is no exception, with only seven Premier League players topping his fouls drawn count of 43, despite him having played the fewest minutes out of any in the top 30 fouled players.
Ayew has started Leicester’s last six competitive games and has been fouled twice in four of these, with 15 of his appearances this season seeing him fouled multiple times.
Mohammed Kudus to be fouled 2+ times
Along with Jordan Ayew, Mohammed Kudus is the one other player involved in this fixture to place among the top ten most-fouled Premier League players this season and his numbers were boosted last time out with a massive six fouls drawn against Arsenal.
This was the fifth time in his last six appearances that he has been fouled twice or more, and he was fouled twice in the reverse fixture at the King Power Stadium in December.
Champions League To Qualify Super Mega Accumulator Tip
Brugge won only three of their eight round-robin games but one of those was a deserved 1-0 home win over the Villans in November, when Villa had more possession but were unable to carve out many chances. Nicky Hayen’s team were one of only two clubs to upset the seedings in the playoff round (Feyenoord were the other), but they might not be finished just yet.
Lille finished seventh in the League Phase with victories over both Real and Atletico Madrid included in their five wins, while they only lost 2-1 at table-toppers Liverpool and might just be under-estimated at the prices.
PSV knocked out Juventus in the playoff round and drew with PSG in the League Phase, suggesting they relish these big matches, and, at the prices, it could be worth siding with PSV to pull off a shock.
Atletico have avoided defeat in two games against Los Blancos this season and Diego Simeone’s men have proved at least Real’s equal in La Liga this term.
Simone Inzaghi’s side are a force to be reckoned with this season, as they also challenge for Serie A glory, and the last-16 stage is where Feyenoord’s European run may come to an end.
Xabi Alonso’s six-game undefeated streak against Bayern is a German domestic record and their recent tussle at the BayArena witnessed Vincent Kompany’s side failing to even muster a shot on target. It ended scoreless despite Leverkusen’s xG rising to 2.19 at the end of 90 minutes. Bayern had real trouble dispatching Celtic in the play-off round and having the second leg at home could be massive for the underdogs now.
Bruno Lage’s side saw off Monaco in the knockout phase play-offs and are unbeaten in seven matches across all competitions, winning six of those. If they can make home advantage count in the first leg, they could prove tricky for Barca to overcome.
PSG have won their last five Champions League matches by an aggregate score of 21-3, producing a stirring comeback to beat Manchester City 4-2, and Liverpool look less formidable than they did in the first half of the season.
Experts' Treble Tip
Tuesday’s test against Fulham looks like a good chance for Wolves to boost their survival hopes. The Cottagers have lost just one of their last nine away in all competitions, but Pereira’s team have picked up some big wins at Molineux and may do so again.
Everton are unbeaten in five matches against Brentford and, given their form since the return of David Moyes, it is unlikely they will give up that streak on Tuesday. The Bees are winless in six home games, losing five of those, and it could pay to side with the Toffees in the double-chance market.
There is likely to be plenty more misery for Manchester United before the season comes to an end and I’d be looking to get with Ipswich and the draw on the double chance market when the Suffolk side head for Old Trafford on Wednesday.
The Entertainers Accumulator Tip
Chelsea have lost only once at home since August and after some disappointing results on the road of late, they should bounce back against Southampton. However, with defensive injury issues and just one clean-sheet in 11 games, the Blues are liable to concede.
BTTS has landed in seven of PSV’s last eight at home, but the Dutch champions should prove too strong for midtable Go Ahead Eagles, who have lost their previous two trips.
Leicester have lost 10 of their previous 11 Premier League matches, but the Foxes have scored in four of their last five trips. West Ham picked up a crucial win last weekend, but that was their first clean sheet in eight games under Graham Potter.
Aston Villa’s last 10 home games have seen both teams score, while BTTS has landed in six of Cardiff’s last seven. Villa have won 2-1 in their last two cup games and they can continue that on Friday.
Walsall are the runaway leaders in League Two, having won 12 of 17 at home this term. They’ve scored 40 and conceded 21 in those matches, while bottom-half Swindon have seen BTTS land in five of their last six.
Nantes have lost five of seven visits to top-half teams, scoring in four of those defeats. Marseille need to bounce back from last weekend’s defeat but they have conceded more than a goal per game at home despite sitting second in the table.
