Champions League Last 16 Accumulator Tip
These two sides are meeting in the knockouts for the fifth straight year, and Real Madrid have won three of the previous four meetings, including the last two. The Spanish giants have won eight of their last 10 under new boss Arbeloa at the time of the draw, and they are one of the few sides in Europe with the individual talent to match City.
While Chelsea beat PSG 3-0 in the summer’s Club World Cup, Enzo Maresca’s tactical tweaks were key in that victory. Months on, and the Blues look to have gone backwards. PSG clearly took issue with the Blues, and they can claim some revenge after eliminating three Premier League sides on their way to last season’s final.
Sporting are arguably the weakest of the top-eight sides, while Bodo have won four straight European games including home and away victories over Inter Milan. The Norwegian side went to the semis in the Europa League last year, and they can see off a Sporting side who overperformed their xG numbers at a huge rate in the League Phase.
Atletico Madrid were handily beaten by Arsenal and Liverpool in the League Phase, while they were a mess defensively against Club Brugge in the last round. Spurs won all four home games on their way to finishing fourth in the first round, and they can match an Atletico side who have been far from dominant in Europe in recent seasons.
Both Teams To Score & Win Treble Tip
Manchester United have won their last three home games and five of their six since Michael Carrick took over. They should have enough quality to overcome a Palace side that are drifting under Oliver Glasner. But the Eagles have scored in 13 of their last 14 away games so back both teams to score too.
Club Brugge return to league action after their Champions League exit and they should be able to overcome Charleroi, but they may concede in the process. The hosts have lost their last four across all comps but scored in those defeats, while Club Brugge have seen goals at both ends in each of their last four games and they have conceded in 11 straight road games.
Marseille have lost three of their last six matches with two draws and seem too short in the betting to beat a Lyon side that were on a 13-match winning streak until last weekend. The visitors have won six of their last eight away games and can cause a minor upset with a win at the Veldorome, but L’OM have scored two or more in three consecutive home games and are unlikely to draw a blank even if they are unable to claim a share of the spoils.
Both Teams To Score Accumulator Tip
Brest won the reverse fixture 3-2 and goals at both ends could be on the cards again when these sides meet on Sunday. Both teams have scored in four of Metz’s last sim home Ligue 1 games and in six successive away games for Brest across all competitions.
Frankfurt have conceded in six of their last eight home games but they’ve also scored in six of those games themselves. Freiburg have conceded in seven of their last eight away games, and both teams have scored in each of the last four meetings between these two sides.
Goals at both ends has been a regular feature of Las Palmas’ games of late, landing in seven of the last eight. La Cultural have seen goals at both ends in seven of their last nine.
Mega Accumulator Tip
Cordoba have won three of their last four home games and should pick up another three points against Andorra, who are only two points above the Segunda Division relegation zone. The visitors have lost three of their last four on the road but have scored in three of these, so they may find the net against a home side without a clean sheet in three at home.
Amiens may be struggling for wins, but both teams have scored in six of their last seven home games and they should be able to find the net against promotion-chasing Troyes, who have conceded in four of their last six on the road.
With both of these sides struggling for consistency, an open and exciting affair is expected in Udine. Hosts Udinese have seen both teams to score land in five of their last eight games and with the same selection winning in eight of Fiorentina’s last 11 as well as the four most recent head-to-heads, it looks the standout play again.
Six of Getafe’s last seven trips to Real Madrid have seen them lose without scoring and, with just four goals in their last six La Liga away days and facing a Los Blancos side on a seven-game winning run at home, they may struggle once again.
Gil Vicente may be underdogs, but they have only lost twice at home this season and have the attacking capabilities to strike back at Benfica. They have scored in nine of their 11 home games and over 2.5 goals has landed in four of their last five here, while Benfica have conceded in three of their last four on the road but have the talent to make this a high-scoring affair.
Overnight Accumulator Tip
Deportivo Cali have taken ten points from their four Colombia Primera A home games this season and face a Fortaleza side that are yet to win away from home this season, losing their last two trips.
Municipal Liberia have lost their last three Costa Rica Primera Division games, two of which were on home soil. They face an overperforming Sporting San Jose who have won their last three on the road.
Tigre haven’t lost a home game since September and have won all four on home soil this season, so they should have the beating of a Gimnasia LP side that have lost two of their last three away days.
Just one point separates these sides, but San Carlos have won three of their last four games and each of their last four at home, while Cartagines are on a three-game losing streak away from home.
Overnight Underdog Double Tip
Municipal Liberia have lost their last three Costa Rica Primera Division games, two of which were on home soil. They face an overperforming Sporting San Jose who have won their last three on the road.
Just one point separates these sides, but San Carlos have won three of their last four games and each of their last four at home, while Cartagines are on a three-game losing streak away from home.
Overnight Best Bet Tip
Just one point separates these sides, but San Carlos have won three of their last four games and each of their last four at home, while Cartagines are on a three-game losing streak away from home.
Bet of the Day Tip
19th-placed Pisa have won just one game all season and have lost six of their last seven at home. They have found the net in their last three home fixtures, though, so they could bag a consolation against a Bologna side that have won four of their last five away games but have conceded in eight of their last ten trips.

Real Madrid have won eight in a row against Getafe, but seven of those have featured no more than two goals, and with Los Blancos having also failed to score more than twice in eight of their last 10 La Liga matches, this could end in another low-scoring success.

Bet to Net Double Tip
Moise Kean took his tally to eight Serie A goals last time out and has now scored in each of his last three league appearances. He notched a brace against Udinese in the reverse fixture in December and looks good value to strike again.
Vinicius Junior has been on fire recently, scoring for the fifth successive game against Benfica last time out to bring his tally to seven goals and two assists in his last eight appearances for Real Madrid.
Correct Score Double Tip
Birmingham have drawn five of their last seven league games at home, with four of them finishing 1-1, which was also the scoreline when they were knocked out of the FA Cup by Leeds on penalties. Boro have drawn their last two, including last weekend’s 1-1 share with Leicester.
Real Madrid have beaten Getafe in eight matches on the bounce and four of those successes have finished 2-0 in favour of Los Blancos, including the most recent time the pair locked horns at the Bernabeu in December 2024.
Match Goals Double Tip
Real Madrid have won eight in a row against Getafe, but seven of those have featured no more than two goals, and with Los Blancos having also failed to score more than twice in eight of their last 10 La Liga matches, this could end in another low-scoring success.

Ahead Of The Curve Treble Tip
Sunderland have been poor travellers this season and Leeds need the points more than the Black Cats so I think it will be a home win for the Whites at Elland Road on Tuesday. Sunderland have won just twice away from home all season and while Leeds’ home form has been mixed, they can pick up an important three points as they look to move further away from trouble.
Chelsea look a decent price away at Aston Villa, who have been struggling recently. The goals have dried up for Unai Emery’s men recently and the same can’t be said for the Blues under Liam Rosenior. Chelsea have also been better away from home under their new boss than at Stamford Bridge.
This will be a game the Hammers will have targeted in their bid to get out of the bottom three. A late Raul Jimenez goal was the difference between the sides in the reverse fixture in December, when West Ham were arguably in their worst form. They look a different team now and with Fulham not keeping a clean sheet since that win at the London Stadium, Nuno will believe that his refreshed squad can take advantage.
World Cup 26 & Champions League Double Tip
Liverpool look like the best value pick, with the Reds putting their struggles behind them with an eight-game unbeaten run. The Reds have the fourth-best Expected Goals record across the first six Champions League gameweeks, while they’ve recorded back-to-back 1-0 wins over Real Madrid and Inter Milan in Europe. Arne Slot’s side have a kind double-header in January, leaving them primed for a top-eight finish. With the Premier League coasting towards a fifth Champions League berth, the Reds should be in a good position to focus on European success in the spring.
Spain have some incredibly talented individuals, Lamine Yamal being the prime example, but are strong in all areas and don’t have any particular weaknesses. They won Euro 2024 with relative ease and they should be too good for their continental rivals at the World Cup. They also look a level above South American heavyweights Argentina and Brazil, suggesting they will be the team to beat at the World Cup this summer.
