We commence in Sweden, where Osters hosted Brommapojkarna in a battle at the bottom of the table. We required the away side to get at least a draw, but we didn’t have the best of starts as they were 1-0 behind until the 62nd minute. The home side then went back in the lead, but a swift reply within 5 minutes resulted in the game finishing 2-2!
Our accumulator stays in Sweden and next up was Frej vs Dalkurd. Frej were further down the table, but have a great record of scoring at home and as a result BTTS looked a great bet. Dalkurd had the game firmly in their control, and by the 61st minute they led 3-0. All we required was a consolation goal, and Pedro Ribeiro gave us exactly that in the 73rd – landing the second leg of our accumulator!
Varberg are storming the Swedish Superettan, and gave us a sweat during this game when they seemingly had it under control! The home side led 3-0 within 65 minutes, and simply had to see the game out. However they wanted to see us sweat, and conceded 2 goals before the 90 minutes were up. A win is a win and our accumulator rolled onto the final 2 legs!
We then travel over to Norway, where Haugesund hosted Brann. Haugesund didn’t have a great record on home soil, and Brann are excellent away – so both teams to score was our bet in this fixture. As expected, the away side took the lead and went into half-time 1-0 up. A strong second half was required from the hosts, and in the 62nd minute centre-mid Tronstad gave them the equaliser they required – leaving our accumulator down to the last leg.
Malaga took on Deportivo La Coruna in a second-leg clash to determine who would reach the Segunda play-off final. Deportivo lead 4-2 after the first leg, and we simply required a draw or win for our accumulator to land. This was very much a one-sided fixture, Malaga were clearly trying to rectify the first result and dominated much of the game. Deportivo defended extremely well and managed to grab a winner in the 82nd minute – landing our 17/1 Win Accumulator!
