18/1 & 9/1 Accumulators Land On Tuesday Night!

What a night it’s been here at FST! After landing our 18/1 Both teams to score accumulator, just 10 minutes later our 9/1 half time accumulator also landed

Our 18/1 BTTS Acca consisted of 5 legs and this is how it went down:

First up Cheltenham hosted Northampton and this leg landed in quick time as Northampton opened the scoring in the 3rd minute. The lead didn’t last long however as the hosts hit back in the 19th minute through Broom.

League One up next where Coventry hosted Rotherham, and it was the Millers who landed the first blow with a 23rd-minute goal from Freddie Ladapo, his 13th league goal of the season. The impressive Coventry hit back just after the break thanks to a Godden strike and that’s how the game would end 1-1.

We stay in League One as Portsmouth took on the MK Dons and like the two that went before this was another leg that landed with ease. The home side opened the scoring in the 4th minute and that lead would last right till the end of the first half when Gilbey equalised.

The penultimate leg saw an all Scottish affair as Motherwell took on St Mirren. Despite their dreadful run of form Motherwell were still the fancied team and they opened the scoring from the penalty spot. Their poor form just won’t go away however as 10th placed St Mirren equalised just after the break and followed that up with an 87th-minute winner.

Last up was the big game of the night as Napoli took on European giants Barcelona and after seeing Roma knock out the Catalan side a couple of years ago they would be hoping to emulate that here. They got off to the perfect start as Dries Mertens scored a magnificent goal, rifling the ball into the top corner after a superb pull back. Chances came and went for both sides but a great piece of football in the 57th minute saw the equaliser as Griezmann netted to land our both teams to score accumulator.

Also landing was our 9/1 half time accumulator and here’s how that went down:

Our half time accumulator featured five sides and all we needed was all five sides to score in the second half. Trailing 2-0 to Luton we fancied Brentford to get back into the game and they did exactly that in the 83rd minute thanks to an Ollie Watkins goal, a goal that sent him to the top of the goalscorer charts with 22 goals for the Bees.

Next up we backed the Terriers to build on their first-half lead against Bristol City and they did just that as they doubled their lead in the 63rd minute from the penalty spot. Another side we fancied to follow up on a half time lead was Blackpool. They led 1-0 at the break however looked nervy as Bolton equalised in the 88th minute. That kicked them into gear as the Tangerines found a winner in the 90th minute.

The penultimate leg saw us back Karl Robinson’s Oxford United to build on their 1-0 half time lead and they duly obliged in the 50th minute. The final leg saw us head up north as Sunderland trailed Joey Barton’s Fleetwood Town at half time. The Black Cats equalised in the 97th minute to emphatically rescue the game and land our 9/1 accumulator. Joey Barton criticised Sunderland for celebrating “like they won the World Cup”, he obviously wasn’t on our half time accumulator.
