25/1 Acca lands thanks to late drama in Italy and Portugal!

The Champions League final may have wrapped up the season and the treble for Manchester City, but top games carried into Sunday as the league season wrapped up around Europe. On top of that, South American action is just ramping up, leaving us with plenty of football to enjoy on Sunday night.
We picked out a 25/1 Accumulator for Sunday evening covering action in Italy, Portugal and Brazil. You can see how that fourfold landed below, with some late drama getting us over the line!

Both Internacional and Verona were able to get out in front quickly, with all seven goals scored between those two games coming in the first half. Internacional were 2-0 up after 16 minutes, with second-bottom Vasco da Gama unable to get back level.
In the Serie A relegation playoff, Verona struck after five minutes, before scoring twice after Ethan Ampadu’s equaliser. They managed to hold firm at 3-1, even after seeing Davide Faraoni sent off in the second half and conceding a penalty.
The crucial second legs of the playoffs in Italy and Portugal weren’t quite as straightforward. Cagliari suffered a late blow in the first leg when Bari scored an equaliser to make it 1-1 heading into the second clash. The odd structure of the Serie B playoffs meant that if the scores were level on aggregate, Bari would be promoted due to their better regular season record.
Cagliari were unable to find a breakthrough, but as I pointed out in our Bari vs Cagliari predictions, late goals have haunted Bari at home and helped Cagliari on the road. That proved to be the case again, as Leonardo Pavoletti struck in the 94th minute to send Claudio Ranieri’s Cagliari back to the top tier.
There was even more late drama in the promotion/relegation playoff in Portugal, where Estrela lead 2-1 after the first leg. They looked to have done enough after scoring a 26th-minute equaliser in the second leg, getting to added-time 3-2 up on aggregate. However, sub Jesus Ramirez scored in the 96th minute to send the tie to extra time, landing our 25/1 acca in the process!
