42/1 Ultimate Bet Builder Tip for Aston Villa vs Arsenal

Arsenal kicked off their bid to go one better and end their wait for another Premier League title with a 2-0 win over Wolves last weekend but face a trickier assignment at Aston Villa in the late kick off on Saturday.

Villa did the league double over the Gunners last season so this game is perhaps an early opportunity to see how far Mikel Arteta’s men have progressed, and arguably the standout fixture in round two. I’ve covered the game in our dedicated Match Predictions section, and now I’ve put together this 42/1 Ultimate Bet Builder tip with the focus on the player markets.

I’ve used Paddy Power to build this bet and new customers can take advantage of their sign-up offer using the button below. Some of these selections are covered by Paddy Power’s Super Sub offer – meaning the bet rolls over to the new player coming on if the original selection is subbed off.

Kai Havertz To Score Or Assist (Super Sub)

Kai Havertz scored and provided an assist for Arsenal last weekend. The German has looked sharp in pre-season and scored twice for his country at Euro 2024, so back him to build on a strong performance against Wolves with either another goal scoring display or an assist for a team-mate.

Amadou Onana To Be Shown A Card (Super Sub)

Villa summer signing Amadou Onana had a fantastic debut against West Ham as he scored the opener but he will probably have to do a bit more work defensively on Saturday when the Gunners visit. Onana did commit one foul against the Hammers and he picked up 14 yellow cards in the Premier League across two seasons with Everton, so he looks a card contender here.

Bukayo Saka To Have 2+ Shots On Target

Arsenal forward Bukayo Saka had an impressive five shots in the win over Wolves last weekend, scoring once, and three of those were on target. He might not get quite as many opportunities at Villa Park but at a big price he looks worth backing to record two attempts on target.

John McGinn To Commit 2+ Fouls

Villa midfielder John McGinn averaged over one foul per-game in the Premier League last season and committed two against West Ham in the opening round this term. McGinn made three fouls in the corresponding fixture last season.
