47/1 Ultimate Bet Builder for Arsenal vs Real Madrid

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

The Champions League is down to the final eight, with the quarter-finals beginning on Tuesday night. Arsenal host defending champions Real Madrid knowing their season rests on getting a good result against the Spanish giants.

Ahead of the clash, I’ve put together a 47/1 bet builder tip, featuring four player props selections.

Arsenal vs Real Madrid Ultimate Bet Builder

Bukayo Saka to score anytime

Mikel Arteta said that Saka was ready to start for Arsenal two games ago, but the winger has been left on the bench for both of those Premier League outings. After two impressive cameos as a substitute, the winger is expected to play a key role on Tuesday.

With no clear-cut striker for the Gunners, Saka is their biggest threat going into this tie. The hosts may have scored seven in the last round without him, but Saka should be the focal point for the first leg.

Saka has scored four times across his last four Champions League games and he found the net against Fulham in his first game since returning from injury. The winger was one of the few positives from last season’s quarter-final loss to Bayern Munich, so back him to make an impact in this game.

Thibaut Courtois to make 3+ saves

I don’t really see a scenario where Real dominate this game from the start. The Spanish outfit have been criticised domestically for their reactive approach, but it’s served them well in Europe over the years.

The visitors will likely sit back to start, aiming to draw Arsenal in and push forward on the counter. That should mean the hosts get the best of the early chances. That approach works when you have a goalkeeper as good as Thibaut Courtois, who has kept them in games in this tournament.

The Belgian made nine saves against Villarreal in his last appearance, while he has been key to a more reserved approach on the road in Europe. He’s made 26 saves across five Champions League trips, making at least five in all but one of those games. He is averaging just over four saves per game in the competition this term, so back him to produce a few stops this week.

Eduardo Camavinga to be carded

The threat of Saka should pose problems for Camavinga, who is likely to fill in at left-back once again. The Frenchman has built up plenty of experience as a full-back, but it’s still a concern to see him marking the best player on the opposition team.

Saka is likely to draw fouls in advanced positions, while the Gunners are expected to push full-back Jurrien Timber quite high up the pitch. The Dutchman is second for the Gunners in terms of fouls drawn in this competition. That overload could be too much for Camavinga, who has made multiple fouls in two of his last three games.

Rodrygo to make 1+ fouls

Rodrygo has made five fouls in four knockout stage matches in the Champions League this term, while he’s made six fouls in four away games in Europe this term.

The Brazilian doesn’t get the same freedoms as his countryman Vinicius Junior, so expect him to track back against the Gunners. Not only does he have to worry about whichever winger features for Arsenal on the left, Myles Lewis-Skelly has been fouled more than any Arsenal player this term, while he’s been fouled at least twice in his last seven games for club and country.

He’s been fouled in five consecutive Champions League games, which has seen his price to be fouled cut drastically. However, he’s going to spend a lot of the game up against Rodrygo, so back the Brazilian to make at least one foul at odds against.
