65/1 Man United vs Tottenham Bet Builder & 75/1 on Spurs to win!

Before becoming a Sports Journalist for Free Super Tips, Aaron spent three years studying Sports Journalism at the University of Sunderland while taking in the Black Cats' 'glory years' under Martin O'Neill. Now back in Northern Ireland he turns niche stats into predictions for FST, while he's one of the few people on this island who is equally comfortable at Windsor Park and the Aviva.

Sunday’s big Premier League isn’t going to be pivotal in the title race, but Tottenham’s visit to Manchester United features two under-pressure sides. The Red Devils suffered another setback in midweek, while Tottenham’s early returns have been a little underwhelming.

This should be an entertaining game given how Spurs tend to approach things and that’s played a part in my 65/1 bet builder tip for Sunday. Our four selections have been priced up with Paddy Power, who are offering new customers huge enhanced odds to back a winner this weekend.

Manchester United vs Tottenham Ultimate Bet Builder

Dominic Solanke to score anytime

Solanke scored his first Tottenham goal last weekend in a victory against Brentford and he built on that in midweek. He capped off a 3-0 win over Qarabag with his first goal in Europe and the forward will be looking to strike for the third game on the bounce.

Solanke had a fantastic record against United last term, opening the scoring in both of his clashes with them while at Bournemouth. He struck within five minutes in a 3-0 victory at Old Trafford, so he’s a great anytime scorer option on Sunday.

Matthijs de Ligt to have 1+ shots on target

Tottenham’s Achilles heel has been defending set pieces and Ange Postecoglou has made no secret of his lack of interest in that side of the game. Any team they come up against will likely target corners as an opportunity to punish Spurs and United have the perfect candidate in de Ligt.

The Dutchman is averaging a shot per game from set pieces this season and given how poorly Spurs have defended in those situations, back de Ligt to work Vicario this weekend.

Kobbie Mainoo to be fouled 2+ times

Tottenham can be quite a physical side, especially with Rodrigo Bentancur in the middle of the park. That’s something which can be exploited by midfielder Kobbie Mainoo on Sunday, with the young Englishman a target for plenty of fouls this term.

No United player has been fouled more often in the Premier League than Mainoo, who tends to get on the ball more at home. He’s won two or more fouls in clashes with Fulham, Brighton and Southampton this season and he was fouled once in a 12-minute cameo against Twente.

Dejan Kulusevski to be carded

Kulusevski picked up seven Premier League bookings last season, a tally only topped by Pape Sarr and Yves Bissouma for Tottenham. The Swedish winger has made the joint-most fouls for Spurs in the league this term, making him a candidate for a card.

The winger has made multiple fouls in five of his six appearances where he was featured for at least 45 minutes, including making three fouls against Arsenal in the North London derby earlier this month. Kulusevski was booked in that clash and he made four fouls in 45 minutes against Qarabag in midweek, so back him for a card in Sunday’s match.
