7/1 Both Teams to Score and Win Double

Our Champions League leg kicked things off as Red Star Belgrade took on Maltese opponents Valletta. First leg ended 2-1 to Red Star so Valletta knew they need to bag an away goal as early as possible. They couldn’t have wished for a better start as Caruana netted for the Maltese side on 11 minutes. They weren’t in the lead for long as on the half hour mark Red Star leveled it up thanks to Dutch midfielder Mitchell Donald. Valletta needed another goal to take the game to extra time however as they started to commit more men forward they were caught by Red Star who took the lead on the 76th minute. They saw the remaining 15 minutes out to win 2-1 and go through to the next round 4-2 on aggregate

Our other leg featured Scottish Championship side Dundee United and Scottish League 2 side Cowdenbeath. After United’s opened their campaign with a penalty shootout victory over Arbroath they knew their fans would demand a better performance in their next game and boy did they deliver. Dundee United had cruised to a 3-0 lead by the 21st minute and we were in danger of it being a complete blowout. Thankfully Cowdenbeath pulled one back through Turner to make it 3-1, although that was all they could muster as Dundee United scored another 3 goals to romp home 6-1 winners and land our Both Teams to Score and Win double in emphatic fashion.
